The Oppressed Peoples of Grave Raven is a colossal, efficient nation, ruled by Tamika the Death Knight with an even hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants, infamous sell-swords, and compulsory gun ownership. The hard-nosed, hard-working, humorless population of 8.179 billion power liches are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The minute, corrupt, pro-business government, or what there is of one, is effectively ruled by the Department of Industry, with Defense also on the agenda, while Environment and Welfare aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Terminus. Income tax is unheard of.

The frighteningly efficient officially-undead economy, worth a remarkable 2,979 trillion spider plants a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Retail industry, with significant contributions from Soda Sales, Arms Manufacturing, and Gambling. Average income is an amazing 364,304 spider plants, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 1,712,316 per year while the poor average 46,117, a ratio of 37.1 to 1.

Frequent broken zippers have resulted in safety pins making a fashion comeback, lonely people are supposed to be cheered up by the many parties that they are never invited to, sofas are perpetually on sales that Must End Soon, and Eckie-Ecola has declared that their soda poop is The Real Thing. Crime, especially youth-related, is so common that it is unusual to encounter someone following the law, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Grave Raven's national animal is the vampire bat, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Grave Raven is ranked 947th in the world and 2nd in Nudist Dreamland for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 11,076.49 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
