The United States of Greater Somalia is a gargantuan, cultured nation, ruled by Mareexaan with a fair hand, and remarkable for its digital currency, state-planned economy, and restrictive gun laws. The hard-nosed, democratic, humorless population of 33.091 billion Somalis are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The relatively small, socially-minded, outspoken government prioritizes Education, with Environment, Healthcare, and Industry also on the agenda, while Defense and Spirituality receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Mogadishu. The average income tax rate is 91.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Somali economy, worth an astonishing 16,611 trillion Shillings a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Cheese Exports. Average income is a breathtaking 501,988 Shillings, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

It is often said that only Mareexaan could bring down Dàguó, incarcerated crime lords manage their empires from massage tables, where there's a will there is usually a password manager, and citizens can only enjoy the splendor of the natural world in designated 'Majesty Appreciation' zones. Crime is totally unknown. Greater Somalia's national animal is the lion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is none.

Greater Somalia is ranked 27th in the world and 2nd in The East Pacific for Largest Publishing Industry, scoring 82,620.53 on the Bella Potter Productivity e-Index.
