Esperanto in Schools

Esperanto is the sole legal language of instruction in schools (notwithstanding foreign language classes), all of which are run by the state. To complete compulsory schooling, one must pass a comprehensive language exam demonstrating the ability to competently speak, understand, read, and write Esperanto.
