The Borderlands of Men of Limbo is a huge, orderly nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, sprawling nuclear power plants, and feral children. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 914 million Raiders are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Administration and Industry are also considered important, while International Aid and Welfare are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Freetown. The average income tax rate is 29.1%.

The powerhouse Raider economy, worth 118 trillion Fuel Units a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Gambling, Uranium Mining, and Retail. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is an impressive 129,582 Fuel Units, with the richest citizens earning 5.0 times as much as the poorest.

Horses that venture near secret military bases are routinely executed for espionage, there are no bananas today in Men of Limbo, apprentice builders get teased for wearing hard hats, and it is a common belief that a sport isn't sport if there are no decapitations. Crime, especially youth-related, is all-pervasive, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Men of Limbo's national animal is the Horse, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Men of Limbo is ranked 194,057th in the world and 8,685th in The North Pacific for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring -8.94 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
