Northern Ateria, officially known as the Imperial State of Northern Ateria, is a country in Ateria, constituting the northern part of the Aterian continent. It shares a single border with the Rebel-controlled forces based in Central Ateria in the south, separated by the Imperial–Rebel Inner Border. The country’s western border is formed by the Western Ocean, while the eastern border is defined by the Eastern Waste. Northern Ateria claims to be the legitimate government

Northern Ateria was a part of a former country that occupied the northernmost region of the continent centuries prior to the invasion by the Empire under Hendrik The Great.
