Northern AteriaThe Imperial Army is the land army of Northern Ateria, and it is responsible for conducting ground- and air-based military operations against the country’s enemies both foreign and domestic. The land forces consist of the Imperial Army and its subject subdivisions, and those are the Imperial Army Armoured Force, the Imperial Army Air Force, and the Imperial Army Military Police.

The Imperial Army was the military force of the former Empire of Ateria; it was founded five hundred years ago and was famous as a highly effective army that was never defeated in all of the wars the Empire was involved in, and it was due to the rigorous training of its soldiers and the superior firearms and materiel they were issued to be fielded on the battlefield; Imperial Army soldiers were also renowned for their loyalty to the ruling Imperial Family and the Imperial nation state, dutifully serving the emperors and their military advisors who commanded them.
Fast-forward into the last century and the Imperial Army, once believed to be virtually unbeatable, was defeated by a coalition of armed rebel groups

Continuing the tradition of the former Empire, the sovereign and head of state of Northern Ateria is the ceremonial the Commander-in-Chief of the North Aterian Imperial Army, whilst a military advisor .
