The Empire of Pallori is a huge, efficient nation, remarkable for its vat-grown people, irreverence towards religion, and devotion to social welfare. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 690 million Pallorians are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The large, corrupt, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Industry, and Welfare also on the agenda. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Palore. The average income tax rate is 72.3%.

The all-consuming Pallorian economy, worth 84.3 trillion paes a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, broadly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Retail. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 122,130 paes, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.2 times as much as the poorest.

Government theft from poor artists to give to rich allies has been dubbed the "reverse Robin Hood" policy, citizens know never to accept cookies from strangers, parents are fined for sending their children to take out the trash after sunset, and the police force is rumoured to be made up of evil shadows with no souls. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Pallori's national animal is the pallori tree, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Pallori is ranked 3,735th in the world and 2nd in Icor for Most Secular, with 98.68 Atheism Rate.
