Symbolism
The colors of the Stromian flag carry strong cultural and historical ties. Red, White, and Blue were used throughout the Original Counties prior to the formation of Stromia. The red on the national flag symbolizes the passion of Stromians for their country. The blue represents the vigilance and justice within Stromia. The white alludes to the pure intentions and noble ideals of the formation of Stromia. The black is a reminder that no intention is fully pure, and the truth in history is more important than the story that comes from it. The five stars represents the Original Five Counties that united to create Stromia.

Real World Design

The flag was originally conceived as a means to represent kids of the neighborhood that would hang out during the summer. The number of stars fluctuated between four and five before eventually settling with five stars. At the time there were four friends, with the fifth start alluding to a potential fifth member of the group. The original colors were much brighter based on the MSPaint color scheme. The colors were eventually aligned to that of the flag of the United States as the saturation fit better.
