General Assembly
Proposals
The following are proposals for WA resolutions. Any WA member nation with at least two endorsements can make a proposal, but it will only become a resolution (to be voted on by the entire WA) if it is approved by at least 6% of WA Regional Delegates.
As the WA currently has 1,022 Regional Delegates, a proposal needs 62 approvals to achieve quorum.

General Assembly Proposal

Global Pandemic Preparedness Plan
A resolution to modify universal standards of healthcare.
The World Assembly,
Acutely aware of the dangerous potential of infectious disease, if left to spread unmonitored, to bring about levels of death and economic destruction unlike any other type of crisis.
Deeply concerned that the international community faces more of a threat from infectious disease than ever before as a result of globalization.
Alarmed by the international community's repeated dismissal of the warnings of infectious disease specialists regarding the increased danger of the pandemic threat.
Recognizing that, as warned by public health experts, no one in our hyper-globalized world can be safe unless everyone is safe.
Appreciating the need for an equitable response to this crisis -- one that prioritizes people over profit and recognizes the equal value of all human life.
Believing that, with a strong and concerted effort, the nations of the world can band together to create a more safe and healthy world and forever end the infectious disease threat.
Proposes:
The establishment of an international task force of scientists to develop new disease-monitoring technologies to eliminate potential threats before they materialize.
The creation of strict and robust data-sharing protocols between all countries through an independent and apolitical international body. The maintenance of global health is dependent on international cooperation and transparency.
The formation of an international disease prevention and control fund, with all countries contributing their reasonable share based on wealth development, with resources available to all members of the international community for emergency response and mitigation.
The establishment of a long-term development fund to finance health infrastructure upgrades across the developing world in order to improve sanitation, hospital capacity, and the availability of essential medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to all, regardless of nationality or wealth.
Together in unity, we can build a safer and healthier world.

Repeal: “Death Penalty Ban”
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
General Assembly Resolution #535 “Death Penalty Ban” (Category: Civil Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Capital punishment, I believe, is an effective tool to prevent criminal activity. The prohibition of state executions has caused a global increase in crime, causing prisons to become overloaded with convicts. This is because delinquents have stopped fearing the death penalty for the felonies they commit, and assume that means they are able to do as they please, and the only threat to these scoundrels is overloaded luxurious prisons where they are under the protection of international law.
I am not saying that we should provide the death penalty for all crimes. Far from it. Misdemeanors and drugs can be punished with jail time, community service, and even conscripts. But the ban on this effective weapon for controlling crime has done more harm than good. To effectively control murder and theft rates, we must provide the treatment of a public execution.

Repeal: “Gay Panic defense Ban”
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
General Assembly Resolution #542 “Gay Panic defense Ban” (Category: Civil Rights; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Speaking of the past Law enacted, have any of you even tried to evade the law by being a male or female, trans or bi? yeah, no. so the ¨gay panic defense ban¨ doesnt really enact anything much, is offensive and stereotypical to the LGBTQ community, and assumes that they try to get out of crimes by sexual preference.
hereby this proposal repeals gay panic defense ban.

Repeal: “Rights and Duties of WA States”
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
General Assembly Resolution #2 “Rights and Duties of WA States” (Category: Political Stability; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
The World Assembly,
Understanding that the original purpose of the World Assembly was to protect the international community from acts deemed immoral by aforementioned international community.
Noting that a group of elites that cast hundreds of votes at once(known as "Delegates") have near total control of the World Assembly and by extension International Law,
Understanding that Delegates have the ability to control what legislation sees voting within the World Assembly, and that their monopoly extends beyond the General Assembly,
Realizing that the aforementioned Delegates remove the justification for a super-national governing body to have the ability to change and influence laws within sovereign nations, and that the effects of this are already being felt with Delegates being able to pass or deny any legislation they wish without consulting the people of the regions they claim to represent,
Predicting that the eventual outcome of the ever-growing power of "Delegates" will eventually lead to the World Assembly being used as a tool for tyranny,
Hereby repeals General Assembly Resolution # 2 "Rights And Duties of WA States"
