World Assembly Resolutions
Since the rise of the World Assembly from the ashes of its predecessor, the Bureaucracy That Cannot Be Named, WA member nations have worked tirelessly to improve the standard of the world. That, or tried to force other nations to be more like them. But that's just semantics.
Below is every World Assembly resolution ever passed.

General Assembly Resolution # 409
Ocean Noise Reduction
A resolution to increase the quality of the world's environment, at the expense of industry.
Whereas significant increases in the level of ocean noise have occurred over the last century due to the increasing use of oceanic sea routes, the expansion of navies, and fossil fuel exploration:
And whereas the oceans are international territory, meaning that protection thereof is a 'tragedy of the commons' issue which can only be solved by collective regulation:
And whereas it is the case that such noise,
massively reduces fish populations, thereby reducing catches, putting strain on fisheries and threatening many coastal fishing industries,
even when ambient, drowns out sonic communication, making it difficult for marine life to communicate food sources and locations, breed, etc. creating problems in survivability of adult specimens all whilst limiting marine life habitats,
can rupture swim bladders and kill zooplankton larvae, threatening the food sources of other populations along the food chain:
Now, therefore, be it enacted by this august and most excellent World Assembly, by and with the advice and consent of the Delegates and Members, in this present session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Member nations shall require that all maritime propulsion systems built or retrofitted after the passage of this resolution (a) include the addition of sound mufflers and (b) comply with international regulations on marine propulsion noise. Ships possessing propulsion systems which do not comply to these requirements shall be assessed a fine, consistent with their noise output, to be included in docking fees.
The World Assembly Nautical Commission shall keep records of data gathered from seismic airburst surveys of the ocean floor. Where necessary to avoid 'free rider' issues, member nations are permitted to grant time-limited exclusive drilling rights to areas in which firms explore in exchange (amongst other things) for data recovered from such surveys. It may also make regulations referenced in section 1, cognisant of trade-offs between economic feasibility and associated reductions in ocean noise.
Member nations shall prohibit blast fishing and the oceanic testing of weapons of mass destruction.
Member nations are encouraged to:
refrain from the use of active military sonar outside of wartime,
reduce the geographic distribution of shipping lanes and take actions to reduce the geographic spread of shipping so as to increase the area of marine life habitats, and
take further actions to reduce the level of ocean noise.

Security Council Resolution # 233
Commend Zwangzug
A resolution to recognize outstanding contribution by a nation or region.
The World Assembly,
Admiring the numerous positive impacts the nation of Zwangzug has had on several aspects of the NationStates community, including international athletics, liberating occupied regions, and advocacy of issues that confront world leaders;
Appreciating Zwangzug's efforts to further international athletics via hosting a multitude of sporting events, including the World Baseball Classic 3, the '12 FairPlay Trophy, the '12 and '13 NationStates World Fair Sports Tournament, the '13 TriWrathlon, and the World Cup of Hockey 16;
Noting Zwangzug's invaluable planning and logistics provided to both the World Baseball Classic and NationStates World Fair;
Further appreciating en passant assistance given by Zwangzug to other nation's sports tournament hosting efforts, via proliferating information of basic practices for scorekeeping;
Recognizing the incredible prowess of the athletes of Zwangzug in baseball, as well as Zwangzug's pawns Aguazul and Earent in soccer, and Plutoni in hockey, accounting for multiple world championships in multiple sports, most impressively Aguazul's four World Cup wins, including an as of yet unmatched three in a row;
Feeling that exceeding the talent in athletics in the above nations is the talent in sports journalism, which is famous among the NationStates Community not only for reporting of the athletics on the field, but also using the lens of athletics to illustrate national culture, provide humor, interweave international affairs, and even incorporate mathematical theory;
Admiring that despite the checkered experience of Aguazul in World Cup 54, including the mid-tournament murder by dinosaurs of emblematic General, Carlos Lopez, the nation was still able to co-host World Cup 55;
Praising Zwangzug's commitment to civil rights and equality as demonstrated by assisting in the organization of a men's rights group in Cassadaigua;
Astounded that Zwangzug is also accomplished at protecting regions from occupation and liberating occupied regions, demonstrated by achieving the rank of Lieutenant in the United Defenders League, being awarded Liberator of the Month in March 2012, participating in such notable liberations as ITALIA, Norway, Liberal Haven, Hong Kong, Christmas, Roman Empire, and Italy, as well as acting as a protective castle to countless other regions via their early spotting of potential invading forces;
Awestruck that, in addition, Zwangzug is a talented issue advocate, demonstrated by bringing the following issues to world leaders' attention:
Hate speech via Sticks And Stones;
Olympic boycotts via The Road To Blackacre Ends Here?; and
National censuses via Your Nation Taking Leave Of Its Census;
Believing strongly that a nation that has made such positive contributions in so many different areas of the multiverse deserves international recognition;
Hereby commends Zwangzug.

General Assembly Resolution # 411
Repeal: “Marriage Equality”
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
General Assembly Resolution #410 “Marriage Equality” (Category: Civil Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
This august World Assembly,
Reminding itself that (i) legislation passed by the World Assembly cannot be amended or changed, only repealed, and that any correction of the problems noted in the target resolution would first require passage of a repeal, and (ii) there are no real good reasons to keep redundant legislation around,
Observing that the target resolution creates no practical protections beyond those already established in article 1, section 3 of 35 GA 'The Charter of Civil Rights', which prohibits discrimination in any 'reductive categorisation' except in cases of 'compelling practical purposes',
Astonished by the World Assembly's foresight in passing 35 GA 'The Charter of Civil Rights' to prohibit discrimination in marriage not only on reasons of sex but on other reasons, including gender, race, faith, and all other reductive categorisations, something which this resolution, ostensibly creating 'marriage equality', does not account for,
Troubled by the target resolution's imposition of a statist conception of marriage in section 1 of the target resolution upon nations in which no conception of marriage has existed in the first place, thereby imposing an oppressive institution with preferential rights upon nations in which no such oppression previously occurred,
Recalling similar legislation in the form of 15 GA 'Freedom of Marriage Act' that was already repealed on practically these exact grounds by 313 GA, which this Assembly passed and supported overwhelmingly at supermajority levels,
Concluding that repeal of this resolution will not eliminate the already-existing protections against discrimination in marriage that both predate this resolution in and are subsumed by 35 GA 'The Charter of Civil Rights', and
Calling for replacement of this legislation and its numerous spelling errors (e.g. recognising misspelt as 'regognizing', replacing the 'c' in the word with a 'g') with a well-drafted reasonably coherent replacement,
Hereby repeals 410 GA 'Marriage Equality'.

Noting that Europeia was host to the UCR-UCR Conference, which produced a widely-recognized standard for regional recruitment activities known as the Arnhelm Declaration of Recruitment Standards;
Admiring Europeia's extraordinary executive, legislative and judicial systems, in which more than 90 nations often participate, and which have produced a long history of democracy, a large body of legislation, and many a fair trial;
Further Admiring that Europeia has striven to share its expertise in these areas with other regions, notably having assisted The Allied Republic with the development of a regional legal system, in addition to supporting Balder through the development of its entire regional government;
Impressed by Europeia's record of profound cultural presence, including:
Hosting the "Women in NS Symposium" to recognize female world leaders,
Organizing a celebration of culture among many regions, known as the "Winter Ball,"
Maintaining a vibrant regionally and privately owned media,
Protecting the right of the fourth estate to be critical of the region,
Supporting a world-renowned audio broadcasting organization, and
Assisting other regions with the development of their own fourth estate with accords such as its Media Development and Distribution Agreement with The Britannian Kingdom;
Acknowledging that Europeia has long been a leader in the World Assembly, consistently supporting the creation of World Assembly legislation both intra-regionally in its World Assembly Drafting Headquarters and inter-regionally as a member of the World Assembly Legislative League;
Praising Europeia's extensive efforts to collect, preserve, and catalog often irreplaceable regional and world history in one of the largest libraries in the world;
Believing that Europeia overall serves both as an exemplary role model for the world and as a force for positive change throughout it;
Hereby Commends Europeia.
