The Socialist Communist States Election of 2017 was the first and last election in the Nation. Held on Tuesday, 7th November 2017. The Election for Ultimate Supreme Leader, and for which party will rule the Nation. Current Ultimate Supreme Leader Kokichi Oma won the election by a narrow margin (61 to Gore's 58). The State of F̶l̶o̶r̶i̶d̶a̶ Biergrad, was won by Oma by a margin of [depends on Kokichi]%. The closeness of F̶l̶o̶r̶i̶d̶a̶ Biergrad meant an automatic re-count was issued. The re-count was halted and continued for many weeks after the election. However a 5-4 decision by the Supreme Court ruled that the re-count be halted. Kokichi Oma was declared the winner of F̶l̶o̶r̶i̶d̶a̶ Biergrad and was elected Ultimate Supreme Leader of Socialist Communist States. This was the last election held in the Nation, as the newly elected Ultimate Supreme Leader Kokichi Oma, banned elections. He stated that "This election proves the inefficiency and slowness of democratic procedures. So I proclaim that elections be suspended indefinitely, so that the will of the people may be carried out in more efficient terms."
