The United Republics of Libertanny is a state of the Southern Confederacy that is notable for conducting it's own foreign affairs and formerly being an independent nation before willingly joining The Southern Confederacy. It is a group of Republics that formed from the original state of Libernya. Libernya State is the oldest part of Libertanny. It is the place of birth of Kingdom of Libernya, country that due to both pacifist and aggressive expansion managed to unite northern Libertannyian states into Northern Libertanny. Historically, it was heart of Libertanny, same time, it was the capital state with the capital city of Horuseus (then capital was moved to Federati). It is strategical state for woodchipping industry, due to it's numerous rainforests. Companies from all around the world (including the Imperial Government) are temporarily buying lands just to get high quality wood from Libernyian forests. It obviously comes with a very active furniture restoring and production industries. However, Libernya State is also internationally known for one of the greatest science universities on Alakana - The Regional Science University of Libernya, which cooperates with Element City National University of Elementia.
People of Libernya belong to group of Northern Libertannyian Nationalities Group. They are rational, hard working, sensible and optimistic. Physically, they are average tall, most likely dark hair and brown eyes. The people have few civil rights, but fantastic political freedoms. Democracy is highly valued among the diverse, conservative population. The economy, though not as efficient as the Imperial Economy, is a powerhouse in the Confederacy.
Religion in the state is extremely diverse. The state is a mix of most religions but has a significant Fraxen population, resulting in a majority atheist population. In fact, according to World Census statistics, they have 98.81% of the population as atheists, a significant portion, especially when compared to the Empire's mere 1.47% agnosticism rate, with only .0127% atheists, primarily from nations abroad.
Though their military in terms of training and equipped level of every soldier is about equal with the Libertannians possibly taking the lead, the Empire out =numbers them by a significant margin, with a slightly greater economy to show for itself in times of war.
