Immigrant Story

Ah,

We came from lands of snow and ice.

A midnight sun illumined the many hot springs interspersing the landscape.

Believing ourselves instruments of god, we set sail for new lands: to fight, to sing, to cry out for heaven.

Rowing for days upon end, our thoughts were cast to the west and the purported shores therein.

Ah,

To think how green fields can softly whisper of the blood there spilt by aspirant kings, who hailed from lands of snow and ice.

Still we pressed onward, ever-further west, for yet-undiscovered shores.

Now is the time for you to rebuild what we have torn down.

Despite all you have lost, peace and hope may yet still win the day.

Oh.
