The Rights of the Confederate

1. The Region of Anontia is united under the common cause of Unity, Prosperity, and Protection. To ensure the harmonious functioning of our region, every member state has the right to self-determination, allowing them to govern their state as fairly or unfairly as they deem necessary.

2. Every member state shall have liberty from deportation, except in cases of violations or during a regional emergency.

3. Every member state is permitted to petition their Regional Officers regarding unjust actions committed against them or their comrades.

4. Every member state shall be allowed freedom of movement, permitting them to leave or enter the region, except in cases of a regional emergency.

5. Every member state is allowed to petition for Officer status.

6. Every member state shall contribute to the collective defense of the Region of Anontia. In the event of an external threat or aggression against any member state, all member states are obligated to provide support, whether through military, economic, or diplomatic means, as determined by a majority vote of the Regional Officers.

7. Every member state shall have the right to bring disputes with other member states before a Regional Council, composed of representatives from each member state and chaired by the Regional Officers. The Council shall mediate conflicts and propose resolutions, which member states are encouraged to accept in good faith to maintain regional harmony.

8. Every member state shall promote economic cooperation by reducing trade barriers and ensuring fair access to regional markets. Member states are encouraged to establish mutual agreements on resource sharing, trade tariffs, and economic development projects to foster prosperity across the Confederacy.

9. Every member state shall respect the sovereignty of other member states and refrain from interfering in their internal governance, except in cases where such actions directly threaten the stability or security of the Region of Anontia, as determined by the Regional Officers.

10. Every member state shall have the right to send a representative to a Regional Assembly, which shall convene regularly to discuss matters of common interest, propose regional policies, and advise the Regional Officers. Each member state shall have one vote in the Assembly, ensuring equal representation.

11. Every member state shall contribute to a shared regional fund, proportional to their economic capacity, to support collective initiatives such as disaster relief, infrastructure development, and the maintenance of regional defense forces. The allocation of these funds shall be overseen by the Regional Officers.

12. Every member state shall have the right to preserve and promote its cultural, linguistic, and historical identity. The Region of Anontia shall encourage cultural exchange programs and regional festivals to strengthen unity while celebrating diversity.

13. Every member state shall have the right to request emergency assistance from the Region of Anontia in the event of natural disasters, economic crises, or internal unrest. The Regional Officers, in consultation with the Regional Assembly, shall coordinate the provision of aid to ensure a swift and effective response.
