Presidential Election 11/15/18

Speech by Vancouvia

As no other members have submitted a speech and it has now been over three days since a call has been unfurled, I will humbly submit my ode for the aforementioned office in order to afford us the same privilege our forefathers imagined for us several years ago: the continuation of government.

If there is one thing that has been learned over the past few years, it is that the show must go on, whatever the production. The music must play, the curtain must rise, the actors must form and act. It is in this clime that we have formed and prospered, and who am I to let the trumpets fade? Where it not for the presence of legitimate order, establishment, and tradition, we would have no dirt upon which our seed of a region could grow.

16,000 years ago things were very different. There was no internet. There was no Australia. But look at us now - we have both! That goes to show what we humans can do when we put our minds together. So gather round, mates, and let us see what we can do with those things at our disposal.

As your President, I will foster an environment of stability, of earnest hard-work and teamwork. I will serve in this office until someone else would like to serve instead. I will issue no more than six Executive Orders and fire no more than three officers. I will establish at least four embassies. That is my guarantee. And if the shoe fits, it's a duck, so get ready to quack!
