Abuja- Afro Caribbean Republic snagged a late lead and defeated Zazumo 14-5 on Friday. The game was tied at three with Afro Caribbean Republic batting in the top of the sixth when Muña Kaba homered on a 0-2 count, scoring three runs.
Jean Paul Tapha led Afro Caribbean Republic to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-5 at the plate. Tapha drove in runs on a double in the sixth and a home run in the ninth.

Zazumo got on the board in the first inning. Zazumo scored two runs when Thomas Rook doubled. After Afro Caribbean Republic scored one run in the top of the eighth, Zazumo answered with one of their own. Zazumo then answered when Rook hit a solo homer.

Afro Caribbean Republic pulled away for good with nine runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth Ackon Kusi singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Tapha doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Pierre Khadim homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, and Amandi Opeyemi hit a solo homer.

Déme Arona was credited with the victory for Afro Caribbean Republic. He surrendered five runs on seven hits over nine innings, striking out 17.

Kenny Weeks took the loss for Zazumo. He allowed nine hits and eight runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Afro Caribbean Republic hit five home runs on the day. Tapha went yard in the ninth inning. Khadim went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Opeyemi put one out in the sixth inning. Kaba had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Serpionov Potap Yakovich had a homer in the seventh inning.

Afro Caribbean Republic totaled 15 hits. Tapha, Khadim, Yakovich, Opeyemi, and Kusi all had multiple hits for Afro Caribbean Republic. Tapha went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Afro Caribbean Republic in hits. Afro Caribbean Republic didn't commit a single error in the field. Tapha had the most chances in the field with 17.
Rook led Zazumo with two hits in four at bats. Zazumo didn't commit a single error in the field. Rook had 13 chances in the field, the most on the team.

On Saturday, Deerfenland raged past Aerilia. Four hits from Muña Kaba helped lead the way for Afro Caribbean Republic over Aerilia 19-3 on Saturday. Kaba doubled in the first, tripled in the third, homered in the sixth, and homered in the eighth.

Afro Caribbean Republic opened up scoring in the first inning, when Serpionov Potap Yakovich hit a solo homer.
Afro Caribbean Republic notched seven runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Afro Caribbean Republic was led by Kaba, Gustave LaFromboise, Amandi Opeyemi, and Ackon Kusi, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Carter Embry took the loss for Aerilia. He surrendered 14 runs on 17 hits over five innings, striking out four and walking zero.

Déme Arona started the game for Afro Caribbean Republic. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two-thirds of an inning, walking one

Afro Caribbean Republic tallied 11 home runs on the day. LaFromboise had a long ball in the fifth and eighth innings. Jean Paul Tapha had a dinger in the first inning. Opeyemi went yard in the eighth inning. Kusi had a homer in the third, fourth, and fifth innings. Kaba had a dinger in the sixth and eighth innings. Yakovich went deep in the first and third innings.

Afro Caribbean Republic had 23 hits in the game. Kaba, Kusi, Tapha, Abidemi Olujimi, LaFromboise, Pierre Khadim, Opeyemi, and Yakovich each collected multiple hits for Afro Caribbean Republic. Kaba went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Afro Caribbean Republic in hits.

Aerilia saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. Tyson Paul, Bailey Wall, Jett Parker, Marcus Jackson, and Karpos Seymour each had multiple hits for Aerilia. Paul led Aerilia with three hits in five at bats. Aerilia was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jackson had the most chances in the field with seven.
