Wow I feel incredible, what ever those fish thing's are made of it's good. I'll need to catch some more and think of some way to preserve them if I ever want to leave this world; I remember that 10% of this worlds water has salt in it, if I can gather some of that and have the ship filter the salt for me to use, I could use that to build up my long term food stores. I also need to keep looking and see if there's any other animal life on the planet that I can eat.

Ok so the ship just told me it's finished it's full diagnostics of everything that's happened to it since we took off. Seems it's found out what happened to our navi computer. Seems we had the worst timing in the universe, turns out we portal-ed right into a super Gama burst and when the navi computer was re-calibrating after the jump it got overloaded and wiped itself, the ship ran the odds of that happening, one hundred and thirty four thousand six hundred and thirty trillion to one chance of it happening... I should have bought a lottery ticket. So good new nothings wrong with the ship bad news I am still royally F@#K, but at least I have my tasty alien fish things.

Ok need to stay focused, I need to get that salt, so I need to move to a salt water source. Ok seems there's one 500Km away, can handle that but first lock this location into the ships systems.

3...2...1, Lift off. Man I hate flying in atmosphere, don;t have to worry about top speeds and turbulence in space. Scanner says that lake's my salt store.

Ok now lest give this water a taste to see just how salty is it..... Ok so I just threw up, suffice to say it's really salty. Ok so now I need to collect it some how and then pipe into the ships filter system and have it filter out the usable salt. How the hell am I going to do this? I guess the ship could grow a system to do that but that will take days to finish, ok a few days shouldn't kill me I can mark this location, I have left over pink fish, need to name the tasty buggers at some point. I also have plenty of water so I should be good for the time being.

Ok ship I need to add a hose and pump into your water filtration system so I can gather the salt in the lake there, I need you to do that as quickly as possible. Yes add the water to the supply tanks, but I need the sodium chloride filtered out, and exported for me to use.

Good now that the ship hopefully is working on that how I want, I guess I should give some salt water fishing ago to pass the time. Hmm I see something moving in that water well lets cast and see if they bite.

Nothing 5 hours and no bites, lets try something different. Ok spare bed sheet lets try net fishing, tie some rocks to the ends. Retie those rocks when they fall off. Got them, and they are crab octopus things. Think octopus with claws on the end of some of it's tentacles, they are really small tho about as big as crayfish, but lets scan them and see if they are toxic. They are safe, I'll store these guys in the freezer since they are small they will all fit in it.

That's going to be all I do today the air on this world makes working much harder then it should be, I'll continue tomorrow after I get some rest.
