All feudal lords in McDonaldsland are expected to run a powerful fortune 500 corporation and have a private army that can defend their land & market share. So yes, in McDonaldsland the local CEO is also going to most certainly be the local duke.

*)When corporate or franchise locations are set up it is considered an expansion of a local ruler's administration borders - and when two locations are close enough to each other it is considered a valid cause for war.

*) WIth the continued limitation of the internet, Brick and Mortar stores are still the norm within the megacity, as are the various aforementioned street wars between their competing companies.

*) Ronald McDonald himself is effectively both the Emperor and the King, as all are beneath him on the feudal pyramid of McDonaldsland. He also holds the most noble titles of all.
