Brewer's Guild Charter Document

1. The mission of the Brewer's Guild will be to progressively move discussion and innovation with in the Brewing Industry, to foster open and free trade, and to celebrate culture and individuality with in our region.

2. The Brewer's Guild will be an open resource to the following industry: Coffee, Tea, Beer, Spirits, Wine Making, Mead, Saki, and other Alcoholic Beverages.

3. For an individual person wishing to join the Brewer's Guild, they must pay a 5 Firkin Credits annually, and employed part-time, defined by the member Nation, with one of the above mentioned industries. Membership will include discounted admission to specialized training, events, and other membership gatherings.

4. For an individual company wishing to join the Brewer's Guild, they must pay a 10 Firkin Credit annually per employee joining. Each employed member will receive the above mentioned benefits, and the company may use the Brewer's Guild logo on their products in accordance with local labeling laws.

5. The board of the Brewer's Guild will be made up of a Chair, a voting member of the board, who is elected by the general populace of the regional leadership. The Chair will then appoint the following positions:

a. Board Member at Large: A board member who has voting rights within the Guild. Board Members at Large must be approved in a general election by regional leadership before being appointed any of the below positions.
b. Sargent-of-the-Mashing-Fork: Is in charge of safety and security withing the Guild, as well as being a voting member. They are 3rd in command of the Guild
c. Master-of-Wine: A voting member, but is in charge of creating initiatives concerning Wine, Mead, and Cider Making. They are 4th in command of the Guild
d. Master-of-the-Firkin: A voting member, but is in charge of creating initiatives concerning Beer and Saki Making. They are 2nd in command of the Guild.
e. Master-of-Spirits: A voting member, but is in charge of creating initiatives concerning all distilled spirit making. They are 5th in command of the Guild.
f. Master-of-the-Mug: A voting member, but is in charge of creating initiatives concerning coffee and tea making. They are 6th in command of the Guild.

6. The above laws can be amended by a simple majority of the Board of the Brewer's Guild. The Chair will have the right to veto any changes, but the rest of the board can counter a veto with a two-thirds majority.
