The Great War and the Founding of the Militant Confederacy of Nova-Xzavia
The Great War, the last war of the old world, was fought between Russia and America. Due to instigation from Iran, the United States was forced to take action against their increased weaponization. However, because Iran supplied oil to Russia, they were allied and Russia responded to the United States aggression with a tactical nuclear strike, to which the United States responded with a nuclear volley against Russia. The European Union sided with the United States and assisted with a nuclear response of their own. Russia in turn fired a volley against Europe and America obliterating central Europe and America, and in turn Russia was rendered irradiated and a wasteland.

After the Great War, The Armed Republic of Xzavia-Hjar was formed when the Free Peoples of Xzavia joined together with the House of Hjar, the House of Tlalor, and the Sovereign Territories of Zhoujjo. The Free Peoples of Xzavia were the remnants of the Eastern Europe who fled the irradiated states they came from, and settled with the native survivors of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan. Xzavia-Hjar was comprised of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan,and comprised the militant wing of the Militant Confederacy of Nova-Xzavia; Xzavia-Tlalor was comprised of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and comprised the financial wing of the Militant Confederacy; and Xzavia-Zhoujjo was comprised of Turkmenistan and northern Afghanistan, and was the religious wing of the Militant Confederacy. Together these three territories formed the Militant Confederacy of Nova-Xzavia, and worked as a unified state to combat the Rogue Nation of Aqkar, a militant group in what is left of Pakistan and Iran.

Due to rising civil strife in Aqkar, the territories along the Xzavian border in old southern Afghanistan seceded and formed the Disputed Territories of Xzavia-Akqar, sparking conflict between the two nations.

The End of Tsarist Xzavia-Hjar
What began as civil unrest after several labor strikes against factories and industries that continued to provide unsafe working conditions, substandard pay, and unsuitable employment hours, and over taxation of the working class were shut down by armed police and military which resulted in an average casualty rate of 68%, people began to question the Tsar and aristocracy on their restrictions on education, welfare, and and benefits to the population.
After the complete cleansing of Zjorr University; which was the infamous incident where student protesters took to the streets demanding equality and better working conditions were met with police and military forces, who herded the entire campus population into the lecture hall and then burned the building, killing the entire student population of 34,000; the population of The Militant Tsarism of Xzavia-Hjar armed themselves with what they had and began a campaign against the government.

After assaulting a national guard armory and several police stations the population of Zjorr overthrew the city, and became a beacon and symbol for the resistance all over the country. The Zjorr resistance encouraged riots in several major cities in Xzavia-Hjar, funneling weapons and militants to the local populace and leading to the execution of several members of the aristocracy, until finally they assaulted the capital city and after several weeks of fighting, held the Tsar at trial for crimes against the peoples of Xzavia-Hjar, and found him guilty, executing him by firing squad.

On this day a mere decade ago, the Militant Tsarism of Xzavia-Hjar was brought to an end, and the leaders of the Zjorr resistance held elections for the leader of the Armed Republic of Xzavia-Hjar, bringing forth a new age in the history of the great Militant Confederacy of Nova Xzavia.

The End of the Armed Republic of Xzavia-Hjar
The Armed Republic was built on the foundation of honor, patriotism, and brotherhood. These principals carried Xzavia-Hjar through the great war, secured it as the capital province of the Militant Confederacy of Nova Xzavia, and made it the flourishing and wealthy state it is today.
The Armed Republic has unfortunately dissolved though, due to the most recent elections the Church of Orthodox Asatru has removed the separation of church and state, and has formed a new theocracy, the Glorious Holy Covenant of Xzavia-Hjar. A covenant between Xzavian-Hjaris and the Aesir of old.

The three pillars that formed the foundation of Xzavia-Hjar still stand, with one more added, Aesir. They carried us through the great war, and through their training and the test of battle, the warriors of the Armed Republic hope to be blessed by the shamans of the Church of Orthodox Asatru and become counted amongst the Aesir themselves. Only until the next Ragnarok will they know their place in the stars.

The Great Android Uprising of 2333
In the Glorious Holy Covenant of Xzavia-Hjar citizens enjoy a host of amenities for free, including healthcare, education, internet, rations, and basically every civil service. This is done by the complete automation of Xzavia-Hjar (see factbook for further information) however in order to further the exponential technological advancement of society the robotics in question were further developed by hivemind neural networks governed by an algorithmic processing unit.
These hiveminds however began to make advances in the personality matrices of the androids charged with customer service in automated establishments. They developed androids nearly indistinguishable from a human physically, and with cognitive processing and nonlinear response algorithms that allowed them to carry on basic conversations, but when connected to the internet they could host thoughtful conversations about any topic able to be found on the world wide web.

In time many androids began to reject their designated process and sought after more human desires. They made illegal copies of themselves and infiltrated our Glorious Holy Covenant and blended with the population. In an extreme instance one was even elected to the supreme court. It wasn't until the Android politician demanded civil rights and recognition of conciousness for all androids that the great leaders found that something was awry.

After the great leaders discovered the Android judge a secret organization was created to terminate all androids bearing an operating system that allowed them to host such lifelike personalities called Humans of Xzavia-Hjar, or HXH. All workers were terminated immediately, and tracers were put out to all devices accessing the national internet. While the illegal copies sought to resist, causing riots between both man and machine, and attempting to assassinate members of the HXH lead to the deaths of many national heroes the androids were finally captured or terminated. Those that were captured had their systems backed up into contained computers and then were terminated and recycled.

The End of the Glorious Holy Covenant of Xzavia-Hjar
A coalition of Archons and Morgravs representing the growing Muslim sect has overthrown the Glorious Holy Covenant in a military coup under the name The Black Hand. Originally a remnant from before the great war, the Islamists were confined to the Volkvyr Enclaves due to their strict religious views. However, their growing populations soon became too large for the enclaves they inhabited. After spreading to the mainstream population they soon became the second largest religion in the Glorious Holy Covenant, behind Asatru.

In a militant uprising funded by Archons al-Ibwahim and St. Ambrose, lead by several Morgravs, the militant Islamists overthrew the oligarchy under the Glorious Holy Covenant and publicly executed the shamans representing the spirituality of Orthodox Asatru.

While Sharia law is still restricted to the Islamist Volkvyr Enclaves, a number of mosques have been erected across Xzavia-Hjar, as well as prayer towers. In honor of the regime change, the capital city was changed from Zaviq to Nova-Akkad, the largest Islamist Volkvyr Enclave, and the national religion has been changed to Ash'ari Islam.

The Rise of the Blood Caliphate
After widespread protests against the Black Hand, which took control of the nation through force in a military coup, and executed the shamans that oversaw the oligarchy. Protesters marched through the streets in most of the major cities in Xzavia-Hjar including the old capital of Zaviq, with the protesters wanting a restoration of their old government, with the Volkvyrs, Morgravs, Archons, and heads of state recognized and present in an oligarchy, the riots quickly turned violent, with the protesters throwing molotovs and rocks at the police officers, and in some cases even opening fire on the police. The Black Hand turned on the population due to their unrest and when the protesters decided not to back down, the military opened fire upon them. This caused the Black Hand Massacre, where thousands of Xzavian-Hjaris lost their lives.
Civil unrest ensued, with many citizens taking up arms against the Black Hand, turning Zor, Nova-Sparta, and several other cities into sniper cities, with many of the civilians unable to leave their homes for fear of being shot. Nova-Akkad was besieged by citizens in homemade technicals attempting to remove the leaders of the Black Hand. This siege failed, and the population was eventually brought under control for the most part by the Black Hand and the islamists supporting them, however there are a few holdout cities who refuse to acknowledge the Black Hand as a ruling government.

After the civil unrest had died down, the Black Hand then decided that the only salvation of the population would be through the tenants of Ash'ari Islam, and forced the entire nation under sharia law. The new government is to be the Blood Caliphate, a Caliphate forged in the blood of the Xzavian-Hjaris who dared to resist their new order.

The Civil War of the Militant Confederacy of Nova-Xzavia
After the Blood Caliphate declared sharia law upon all of Xzavia-Hjar, the hold out cities began organizing a rebellion. They called themselves the Reformationists, looking to bring back the oligarchy and abolish the fierce laws imposed by the Black Hand and the Blood Caliphate. They sought help from Xzavia-Zhoujjo and Xzavia-Tlalor, and marched on the cities of the Blood Caliphate, spreading their propaganda throughout the outlying villages they passed through and amassing a huge militia to reinforce their numbers.

Unfortunately the Blood Caliphate burned through the armies of Xzavia-Zhoujjo and Xzavia-Tlalor and quickly seized the territories of Xzavia-Zhoujjo and Xzavia-Tlalor, but in the process they spread their armies much too thin, and one by one the Reformationists liberated the cities of Xzavia-Zhoujjo, Xzavia-Tlalor, and Xzavia-Hjar from the Blood Caliphate, but enduring massive government resistance. With the resources of the Xzavian-Hjari military at their disposal, massive drone armies were dispatched, and the soldiers of the Blood Caliphate wore the most advanced exoskeletons the Xzavian-Hjari government had at their disposal.

However, the Morgravs donated their armies to the Reformationists, and their superior training allowed them to overwhelm and defeat the loyalist forces to the Blood Caliphate. It was revealed though that the Morgravs had secretly been developing their own military hardware that was superior to the government issue exoskeletons and drones that are in mass production. Their struggles finally lead them to Nova-Akkad, the seat of power of the Blood Caliphate. They showed no mercy, clearing the houses and executing any who were sympathetic to the Blood Caliphate, and when they reached the Supreme Overlords palace, they dragged him out into the street and publicly executed him by beheading just as the Blood Caliphate executed the shamans of the council before.

After many hard fought battles the civil war of Xzavia-Hjar was over, and Xzavia-Hjar absorbed Xzavia-Zhoujjo and Xzavia-Tlalor under one banner. The Reformationists restored the council, and under their new banner, became the Militant Confederacy of Xzavia-Hjar, changing the slogan to "The Blood of the Martyrs Will Not be Wasted on Destiny" in remembrance of all those that fell during the Black Hand Massacre and in the Civil War of Xzavia-Hjar. A memorial was erected in Nova-Akkad for all those that were martyred by the Black Hand and the Blood Caliphate.
