Alyzian Genetic Chronicle
The genetic history of the Alyzian Hybrids include a complex aggregate of DNA from various galactic species designed to maximize traits for intelligence, physical robustness, and extrasensory perception.Alyzian skin was integrated from the Merthynia of Pi3-14159 due, in part, to their self-healing capabilities. However, the initial attraction to this species related to their cartilage-based structure which was both hearty and flexible. Additionally, due to our species desire to establish settlements outside of our own system, their physique allowed the capability to thrive in both rock and water-based planets.
Alyzian intelligence required greater skull capacity in order to contain a larger more developed brain. The musculoskeletal system was originally incompatible with our attempts to combine the DNA of the Lux Collective of our sister star. Over several centuries, genetic experiments on the Merthynians proved successful and the new hybrid race of the two species were used to splice the required gene for our use. The project was successful and over the course of the next millennium a new species flourished.
Extrasensory perception of the Alyzian was much more complex than our species could comprehend at the time. The union of Merthynian-Lux DNA allowed for the capabilities to exist but there was a missing factor that eluded our attention. Ultimately, the Alyzians realized they had not yet advanced in their own conscious awareness to overcome the limitations of the physical senses. Nearly one thousand years of refining spiritual practices, removal of transdermal and intracranial artificial intelligences, and scientific advancement in quantum physics were required to establish a strong foundation in a new conscious collective.
