The Republics of the Revolutionary People's State
The Revolutionary People's State of Renova is divided up into 15 political units known as republics each with it's own government, elected officials, and lead by a president. The republics have control of their own affairs completely independent from the national government, however some freedoms are restricted unless permission is granted from the Liberation Front. On August 19, 1968 a bill purposed to the Revolutionary People's Congress by then former Revolutionary President Ho Young Kim allowed the republics to form their own independent defense forces that way they could defend themselves from hostile invasions until federal units could arrive and take over the battle. In order for a territory to become a republic it first must pass a strict loyality test to see if it's citizens are loyal to both the National Liberation Front, and the Revolutionary People's State. In April of 2001 the Renovan government decided in order to ensure the citizens of each republic had just want they needed a council made up of the Revolutionary President, Prime Minister, and all 12 republic presidents called the Revolutionary Council of Republics(RCR) was created recently four more seats were added to the council.
