Men's Hockey — Day 4

The final day of the men's hockey event was more packed than any other event. The rink was filled with frantic spectators, some escorted from the area in a drunken rage, some caught trying to brawl. Overall, this was certainly the most anticipated close to any hockey game in the world. Eventually, the tough boys from (East supple lund) Neo-Supple Lund bested the (Confederation of Independent Colonies) Colonisians. The 3-2 win accomplished a fiery performance from the crowd, who instantly pressed against the glass of the rink—attempting to see the players and their performance. At once, the glass shattered and the anxious spectators fell into the rink like a flood. Seven people were trampled and sent to hospital.

In a more calm event, the Fusean Empire faced the (North armatas) Armatasians at a hefty competition tonight in the race for bronze. The Fuseans won 4-1, taking bronze away from the hands of the Armatasians. After the game, all of the Fusean olympians circled with their medallions and cried tears of a grand finale. This would be the last time the team would be together, as the next draft for the Fusean national hockey team would commence soon. The coach reported, "We Fuseans—we don't cry much—but these boys have worked incredibly hard, formed a special bond, and it's the last time they'll ever be together—Oh boy, I'm getting upset just thinking about it too".

Four Man Bobsled

The Four Man bobsled event is the highest anticipated bobsledding event in the winter olympics, and is regarded as the most impressive. Tonight, the well-practiced teams approached the olympic sled circuit with intense expression, each team declining to comment for fear of distraction. In the end, the (Asthea) Astheans dominated the event with their outstanding time of 1 minute, 27.21 seconds. Immediately after their triumph, the olympians took their sled and activated it in some way so that it shot into the air—exploding like a firework. Somehow this stunt was approved secretly beforehand. A second place performance came from (Angshire), who won silver. The (Kronica) Kronicans won bronze.

Pair Figureskating

Pair figure-skating is said to be the most mesmerizing of the olympic sports. It is a tie of dance, theatrics, romance, and brilliant athleticism. The athletes from (Tanabon) Tanabon swept all of that away with their record-breaking score of 120.9 technical points. The partners, Davis Coleman and Tracy Nelson completed an artistic performance like none other seen in the world. One judge commented later, "I've seen figureskating and interpreted the performance as a whole—that's my job. Here, Ms. Nelson and Mr. Coleman demonstrated themes that I'm not even sure I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying here at the olympic games". Silver went to the (Lorigia) Lorigian athletes, and bronze went to the skaters from (United tefuna)

Curling — Day 3

Thankfully, it was the last day of curling. With only fifteen spectators in the curling rink tonight, olympians seemed disatisfied and discouraged, however they were met with intense support from those fifteen spectators, however they managed to foster that support anyways. The (North armatas) Armatasians won gold in their cheerful performance against the (Hong kong empire) Hong Kongese. During the giving of medals, the Armatasian team seemed to collectively fall asleep during the isolated ceremony, and had to be waken up. As for the Hong-Kongese, they accepted their medals and took off to celebrate their final night of curling.

In an even more isolated event, the Refugee Athlete team won against the (Xyree) Dakians. After the giving of medals, the Dakians accepted their loss and moved on quickly to playing ice tag in the nearly-empty rink. They did not leave the arena until 1:00 in the morning, and at that point—were imitating ice taekwondo upon the ice boards, and using the large electronic score-counters to keep track of successful hits and kicks in the farce. They were promptly escorted out by ushers who wished only to go home and sleep.

Equine Skijoring

Skijoring is a special event in Fusea, not often done competitively, but usually presented as a ceremonious game during hivernalia and other related winter festivities. It involves performing cross country skiing while using a horse to pull the athletes forward. It is a balance between speed, coordination, and control of the horse. The (Greater Saint-Paul) Paulite athlete successfully won gold in the event. Hans Frederick originally did dog-sledding as a child, but competed in skijoring for the olympics. Having won, he stated "Aren't the horses beautiful? Hello pumpkin, yes hello! Do you want a carrot? You want some sugar cubes? Yes—who's a beautiful horsey?". He continued with the horse-speak for several minutes. Other fantastic efforts came from the (State of roma) Roman team who won silver, and the (The imperium of steve) Latin team who won copper.

Dogsledding

As a testament to their greater performance in skijoring, the (State of roma) Roman team won first place in the dogsledding event tonight. Dogsledding involves completing the nordic ski track, upon a sled pulled by dogs. Similar to skijoring, it takes balance between agility and control of the canines. The Roman athlete Nilam Dasgupta could not comment after his performance, for he was covered in dogs. One of the dogs was able to express his enthusiasm, "Bark! Bark!", she stated. Aaron Ronan from (New Chilokver) Chilokver won second place, earning him a silver medal for his efforts. The (Xyree) Dakian athlete Midori Hana won third.
