Pairti Cle Manifesto
Believing that the peoples of The Slide Countries deserve to be armed with the knowledge of what this party stands for, Aussandries and Orennica, on behalf of Pairti Cle, present the Pairti Cle Manifesto:
"One People, One Soul, One Heart: Ardent and Proud"
Article 1: "Confidence in the Democratic System"
- a)
- i) We believe in the continuation of our current democratic, representative system of governance and appointment of officers: The Slide Country Single Transferable Vote System
ii) We believe in equal rights for all citizens of the region, regardless of background, belief, situation or residency.
iii) We believe that the voters should be allowed to have weighted opinions, and thus there be a limited amount of puppet nation allowance in elections and votes. Non-voting puppet nations will continue to be legal.
iv) We believe that all peoples should have the opportunity to vote without fear of retribution from the winning party, despite the unchangeable openness of the ballot.
v) We believe that the Founder and WA Delegate (or unelected positions) should be kept as weak as possible in as many cases as possible in order for the mandate of the government to have supreme executive authority.
vi) We believe that the people should have a constant and consistent say in the running of the region, and we will therefore continue to allow votes on all of our legislation
vii) We believe that the people should have a constant source of scrutiny of the government's actions, to ensure fairness and reduce corruption, so we will ensure that communication is maintained at all times
viii) We have confidence in the Triumvirate System, and in all three bodies of said system, as well as the democratic election process for the Assembly and Cabinet.
b)
- i) However, we believe that there should continue to be a check on the government's power, and therefore believe in the continuation of the Supreme Council, consisting of several senior members of the region, in accordance with the ancient traditions
ii) Likewise we maintain that the existence of this council and the appointment of its members should be retained within the powers of the Founder
c)
- i) We believe that the existence of sub-groups within the region should be allowed and promoted, such as the Slide Countries Socialist Alliance (SCSA)
Article 2: "Opinions On Foreign Policy"
- a)
- i) The more embassies the region gains, the more respected and safe we are as a region, and the more allies we have to call upon. We will continue to forge embassies on a daily basis.
ii) We believe that the embassies created should be, in almost all cases, with like-minded regions who support our way of life, through democracy and firm stances on raiding.
b)
- i) The safety of the region is our No.1 concern. To that end, we assure the region of the continuation of the founder's activity from personal guarantee.
ii) Likewise, we will continue with our current policy of safety, with a weak WA delegate role which cannot be used for internal matters as well as multiple alliances with defender organisations and a private council for stopping raids, as set up by esteemed member Who cares bro
iii) We are staunchly anti-raid. To this end, we will continue our co-operation with anti-raid Defenders, such as the Anti-Fairy Pact.
c)
- i) We will continue to welcome as many immigrants to the region as we can, believing that others should be able to enjoy the freedoms and lives that we do in this region, while at the same time bolstering our ranks.
ii) We, however, will not tolerate raiders within the region - and any found will be ejected and banned with immediate effect.
iii) We likewise believe that refugees from war-torn, raided regions should be welcomed with open arms, no matter what their background or ideologies.
d)
- i) We will continue regional support for the WA and its work in both Security Council and General Assembly.
ii) We will endeavour to produce party lines on significant WA legislation, with the WA delegate and First Delegate acting as whips for the members.
iii) We will continue a campaign to encourage more regional members to join the World Assembly, and to then endorse each other for the good of our region's international standing.
iv) We believe that all WA proposals should be given the chance to be voted on by the wider assembly, so our delegate will be encouraged to approve all legal propositions.
Article 3: "Home Affairs"
- a)
- i) Our stance on regional policing is to continue to protect the region's freedoms without fear of unjust actions.
ii) However, we will commit to the Regional Rules outlined in the Laws, and will support the punishments outlined in that document.
iii) We will also endeavour to limit the removal of free speech, banning officers from supressing RMB chat unless it is justified.
b)
- i) SCSA vassal nations will be maintained and access will be granted to our new regional members, for continued usage as a message board and recreational project.
c)
- i) We will ensure that officers are treated with the respect that they deserve, as they represent the region and her interests.
ii) To this end, we will take a firm stance against rule breakers and those who disrespect prominent ministers, through a system of "Three Strikes", with the punishment tailored to fit the crime.
Article 4: "Regional Co-operation"
- a)
- i) We believe that co-operation between parties is key to the success of the region as a whole.
ii) Due to this, we will continue our policy of co-operation and consultation with the other parties, currently being the "SDP" and "Casual Party".
iii) We will also work with any new parties that come into being over the course of future terms.
iv) We will endeavour to represent all regional members, whether they voted for us or other parties, or didn't vote at all. All opinions will be listened to, and all suggestions considered.
v) To this end, our party members are required to send any requests they receive to Aussandries for consideration and debate.
vi) We will, however, endeavour to fill all officer roles with our own party members, unless a better choice exists across the party divide.
b)
- i) We believe that nations within our region should likewise endeavour to co-operate, with less ill-feeling, for the good of all of our nations, and the region as a whole.
ii) To this end, we will continue to set up inter-regional competitions such as the "Slide Countries Rugby Cup" for our members, as we believe that friendly competition allows for better relations.
Article 5: "Tackling Corruption in the Region"
- a)
- i) In order to tackle corruption in our region, we must maintain an up-to-date regional members list and their puppets.
ii) We will achieve this by tasking a senior, active officer with this task and adding this to their responsibilities
iii) We will also create a database of registered voters, so that no hidden puppet nations can interfere with elections. The 5 nation limit will be upheld for elections.
b)
- i) We will also encourage individual nations to tackle corruption within their own nations, and to promote the use of democracy within these nations.
ii) We will therefore take an advisory role to nations that appear to be against the policies that our region holds dear.
Article 6: "Who Are We?"
- a)
- i) To know who you are voting for, we have compiled a list of our party members below.
b)
- i) Aussandries
ii) Orennica
iii) Dead men walking
iv) Patrackia
v) Vashy mishyl
vi) Utrechtse gewest
vii) Rebirth Island
viii) Buewye
ix) The belacian states
c)
- i) We are the oldest party in the region.
ii) We created the democratic system that we use to this day.
iii) We have the largest number of senior regional members of any party.
In conclusion, We believe in a continuation of our regional democracy, a continued role in the international community, a strong force against raiding forces, belief in co-operation, respect for officers, and a reduction in corruption. We are Pairti Cle. We are the future.
