Space RP Rules

1. The Moderators have the final word in RP.
Nations can discuss with moderators, or even reasonably (no yelling or insults) argue with moderators. However, a RP mod has the final word. If a moderator says a matter is settled, it is settled, no ifs, ands, or buts.

2. Moderators have the final word in lore and dispatches.
While this RP is meant to be diverse, this is no excuse to go heavy on the godmoding, RP mods will be responsible for sifting through people's dispatches in addition to moderating the RMB. If he finds something that could be considered godmod, fantasy, or otherwise against the rules, he has the authority to tell you to remove it. Again, rule one applies here - you can ask why, discuss, or even lightly argue with the moderator in an attempt to change his mind, but ultimately he has the final word. Disobedience will be punished.

3. Be realistic in the technology that you possess, military or nonmilitary. Refer to the technology guide.

4. A nation cannot RP for, in or about another nation without there Permission.

5. No nation can be compelled to participate in any RP event without its own consent. However, once RP event is commented on ‘in character’ (IC), that nation has now become involved and must abide by the situation.

6. Powerplaying/God Mode will not be tolerated. This means, be realistic in what you do, to the best of your ability. Fairness is essential to a successful roleplay environment.

7. Alliances, pacts, treaties, etc. will have to be Role-played and nations may be unrestricted in forming alliances

8. The RP Region is strictly for roleplay. No other discussions may be held there.

9. All nations participating are to use nstracker for military and economic numbers.

10. All nations are to set a roleplay population using Nstracker that is realistic to their country size to help be realistic.

11. Be realistic about how long things take. You cant travel the Galaxy or build an army or ship instantly.

12. Please take personal discussions not suitable for the Roleplay to Telegrams or Discord.

13. Don't expect to just be allowed to take the Systems. If you want to claim Systems you must contact the moderator of the RP and give a reason for wanting the land. They will be the judge of whether it would be suitable. Please make claims that would be good for an RP story, not just because you want more Systems. Systems grabs should be part of an episode or approved by the RP management prior to an announcement

14. Short, undetailed Roleplay posts are not allowed. This is to avoid uninteresting, undetailed and poor quality posts. It fills up the board and seriously degrades the overall quality of the RP. Add details and information to your posts, explain why you're doing the thing you're doing. Add context and reason.

15. No nation is allowed to utilize any form of nuclear, chemical, or biological warfare in Roleplay against another nation.

16. Just like today's world, Diplomacy and a war of words should be your first option. War is something you should only consider as a last resort.

17. War and combat between nations cannot happen spontaneously. The nations who want to go to war with each other will have to discuss it among themselves first through telegrams or other communication methods. Only when they have both agreed to the methods, execution, and results of the combat are they allowed to proceed with moderator approval. This means that before posting anything you are to send one of the moderator's details of what you are going to post for their approval. Once they have approved you may proceed.
