Gudenian Omnitheism

The state religion of Sani Gudena is "Omnitheism", or belief in a single multifaceted God which simultaneously manifests itself as every iteration of divinity in the world. The concept stems from a belief that all humanity was created with some spark of a divine love, and that no creature created by God is ever unwanted. Omnitheists respect any faith they are presented with as a different view on the same underlying reality, and as such have next to no religiously motivated terrorism or attacks. The only "universal" tenet of Omnitheist doctrine is that due to all beings ostensibly stemming from the same multifaceted God, to harm other humans based on superficial differences is an egregious sin.

However, as the state of Sani Gudena preaches it to its constituency, the doctrine is carried further into a voluntary destruction of individuality. By shedding one's identity and assimilating wholly to the state, the individual becomes closer to God, for God is a sum of individual ideas coalescing into divinity. Therefore, by renouncing one's distinct identity, one is honoring God. It's unknown how many Omnitheists take this government spin on their religion as any more than an attempt to capitalize on free indoctrination, but at least 12% of the population of Sani Gudena aged 14-36 have renounced their own names, adopting "Sani Gudena" as their common name and living in commune houses.

The government, ironically, cannot reward or promote this behavior as it makes census and crime incomprehensible. The "Path of Sani Gudena" is considered an extremist group, and they make up a sizable proportion of the limited crime found in Sani Gudena.
