Leifsborg



Leifsborg is the capital city of Midasgard, and the siege of the monarchy and of the Althingi. Located on the south-eastern shore of the Fish Bay, the city is named after Leif Erikson, a famous Norse explorer.

Geirsborg is the second largest city in Midasgard, situated on the southern shore of the main island. The holds its name from its founder's name Geir Larsson, as well as the spearhead shaped cape south of the city ('geir' meaning 'spear' in Icelandic).

Kvasirsta­ur



Kvasirsta­ur, Kvasir's stead in English, is the cultural capital of Midasgard. The city is known for its high concentration of artists. Kvasir is a Norse mythology character, his blood was used in the brewing of the Mead of Poetry. Its proximity to the Poets' Garden (Midasgard's south-western peninsula) makes it a great city for artists in search of inspiring landscapes.

Gilborg sits on the south-western shore of the Fish Bay. The city is bordered on the south-east by a deep and wide gully, carved by a now almost dried up river, which gave its name to the city ('Gil' translates to 'Gully' in English).

Sjˇmannasta­ur is the northernmost city in Midasgard, located on a cape just south of the glaciers enclosing the Fish Bay. Due to its location, the city is an excellent port for fishing activities, be it within the Fish Bay or out in the ocean. It is also a convenient stopping port for ships to check everything is operational before they set sail into the unforgiving ocean.
