"The Beepeean Occasional News Corporation (BONC), together with it's affiliate the Beepeean Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), is delighted to tender this hosting bid for WorldVision85.

Whilst Beepee's participation in the song festival has not been as lengthy as others, the Beepeean populous has thoroughly enjoyed participating in the friendly and inclusive competitions of WorldVision and World Hit Festival.

Our genial nation is warm, friendly and accepting to all and, should we be chosen for the honour, we would be delighted to enlighten visitors and viewers to the great diversity and hospitality Beepee has to offer under the banner "Together in Harmony".

Beepee has been promoting sustainability, stability and peace in the South Pacific region for over two years.





BONC would be delighted welcome you to our host city Norfolk Pinewoods.

This jewel in the crown of Beepeean cities, Norfolk Pinewoods has all he modern day amenities of a large city, with bars, restaurants, entertainment and sporting venues.

The legislative and administrative hub of Beepee, Norfolk Pinewoods has a cool city vibe, where you can chill out in the coffee shops in one of our leafy suburbs or shop in our recently refurbished central business district.

In NP, astounding architecture meets a human scale, in a city easy to get around in with an extensive public transport network and plenty of natural space to breathe in under a pine or gum tree and soak in the beauty of Beepee.





Waratah Theatre, constructed in 1978 and refurbished in 2018 for its thirtieth year, is the proposed venue. The theatre sits in the heart of Norfolk Pinewoods.

With a capacity of 2,700 seats and ample technical capabilities (for commentary boxes and international broadcasting), the Waratah Theatre harks back to more civilised times of viewing high quality musical acts in comfort and luxury.





The semicircular stage with two sets of stairs to the front left and right leading to a walkway encircling the 42 peice BBC orchestra.

Only four fixed cameras will be available (indicated on the floor plan above).

The proposed staging includes a full height LED wall at the rear of the stage which can incorporate any designs the participating countries may desire.

In addition, during portions of the telecast, various light panels and can move across the rear of the stage, in front of the LED screen, behind the peformers creating intricate and dynamic patterns.

A full height physical scoreboard will be located to the right of the stage.





It is anticipated that popular actor and presenter, Hugh Jakeman, would host the event.

Established as an actor for his generation, Hugh Jakeman has starred in a number of locally successful movies and television series.

Hugh has commented for Beepee in both WorldVision and World Hit Festivals, and has achieved popular success an irreverent and comedic commentary of the acts.





BONC will commission locally renowned conductor and composer, Wayvn La Baton, to prepare a dramatic musical number expressing the variety and gaiety of Beepeean life.

The music, played by the BBC orchestra will be accompanied on stage by a dance troupe enhancing the theme of "Together in Harmony".

Furthermore, popular singing sensations Mike Oxlong and Betty Wont will present a popular Beepeean Hit. Other Beepeean artists are also likely to be nominated closer to the time, if the bid is successful.





Between each performance there will be a short postcard highlighting a different aspect of Beepeean culture, landscape or identity.

Upon completion of the mini-clip the postcard will include the name of the forthcoming song performance number and nation.

Each performance will also include an on screen reminder for televiewers in the bottom left of the screen, with a #hashtag and trigramme to promote social media interactions.
