Our Technology Capabilities (WIP) (Mostly are General RP)

This Factbook are for giving basic information to the public about the key Ikherian technologies.

  • IGSNS
The IGSNS (Ikheria Global Satellite Navigation System) is a global satellite-based navigation system, developed by the Ikherian Space Exploration Agency (ISEA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farming, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Commerce, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, the Ministry of Telecommunication and Press, and many government and private agencies. This system operate more than 35 navigation satellites (and its planned multi purpose satellites) in 5 MEO (Medium Earth Orbit) orbit lane at 22,500 km above Earth. Accuracy of this system is rated between 1.95 meter to 0.275 meter. With the IGSNS, the accuracy of the combined GPS/GLONASS/Galileo and IGSNS can reach 1 meter or even at centimeters range. This system has many application, such as Agriculture, Industry, Military, Mining, Recreation, Science, Transportation, and some more. This system has ground tracking station in Yeltsingrad, Minsk, Gdansk, Kaliningrad, and several more stations, located nationally and internationally.

  • DTIS
The DTIS (Digital Telephone Interfaces System) is a suites of telecommunication protocol, developed from late 1984 by the Research and Development Division of the SovIkherTel as an answer of the special request from the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ikheria (the Ikherian SFSR branch of the Communist Party of Soviet Union) to develop a new digital network system, as when DTIS are developed in 1980s, the telecommunication services in Soviet Ikheria is significantly overloaded and considered obsolete. This system developed using LinkISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) as its reference protocol. The protocol extend many advanced capabilities of ISDN, with ability for deliver bitrate up to 2-5 Mbps for data or more than 30 voice call in one time, just using one coax/4-pair electrical cable.

In 1987, DTIS version 1 standard released to the public. In late 1989, DTIS telephone systems are complementing analog-based telephone system in Soviet Ikheria. Currently, DTIS are on its fifth iteration, with many advanced capabilities, such as gigabit speed, dual-use (simultaneous voice and data) capability (allowing placing voice or other data call meanwhile sending email or surfing the internet), PVC (providing permanent connection), Soft PVC and SVC connection capability and several others, and considered one of most advanced telecommunication protocol suites. Currently, the most of Ikherians are using DTIS-capable devices and available in more than 125 nations, including the GIIM alliance (Germany, Ikheria, Indonesia, and Malaysia), ASEAN, EU, and most of post-Soviet states.

  • Fednetcomlink
The Fednetcomlink (the Federal Network Communication Link) is an Ikherian national telecommunication network, providing the most of Ikherian population with reliable and fast access to Internet and telecommunication services, as well providing national Intranet service if larger Internet network down.

The network topology start from a local provincial network (level 1 network), formed from several participating partner network nodes in that province, connected to a provincial central exchange. The local provincial network then are linked, using fiber or wireless-based system to the upstream state area network and neighboring other provincial network.
In state network (level 2 network), all province networks are concentrated on a state central exchange, as well several major user in the state. In this level, the state network are linked, with at least 4 connection, two to the upstream federal-level network, with one of them as backup, and the other to neighboring states.
On highest level, the federal network (level 3), all state networks are concentrated on several federal central exchanges, which in turn, these exchange are mesh connected with each other and have connection to several Tier-2 and Tier-1 operators, Ikherian Federal Internet Exchange (IFIEX), and other major networks. The state network can also connect to other state networks using any possible topology, providing redundancy and prevent system failure and outages. In addiction, the Ikheriasat-2 and Ikheriasat-3 satellite constellations also used as backup link.

The Fednetcomlink allow the most of Ikherian population can connected without worries about Internet failures, outages, and threats, as the federal central exchange system will automatically disconnecting the link to the Internet if major failure happens, automatically transforming the network into national Intranet until was restored to normal condition. The system also allow telecommunication companies and ISPs using the network for providing more services, higher access speed, and delivering them without installing new infrastructures for it. This system also used for telephony purposes.

A governmental version of this system, Federal Information Network System 'Symphony' was developed shortly after 55% of the Ikherian population are connected directly or indirectly into Fednetcomlink.
