New Prime Minister of Cacocu

The Red Party has won the national Cacocu elections. Opposition Leader Joanne “Jo” Bidden will become Cacocu’s first female Prime Minister. Outgoing PM, Derek Rump, has lost his seat of West Otisburg.

Though the Rump Government’s handling of the East Pacific Acute Respiratory Syndrome (EPARS) pandemic was lauded, the newly formed Patriot Party split the right-wing vote, due to disaffected Rump supporters not liking that Rump has actually taken EPARS seriously. However, voters said they were tired of Rump’s antics.

Blue Party have voted on a new leader. It is young political superstar Kirk Charleston, a Rump ally and self-proclaimed “Rumpist Patriot”. He is expected to re-unite Blue Party with Patriot.

Final results:
Red Party- 52% of vote, 67% of seats.
Blue Party- 29% of vote, 25% of seats.
Patriot Party- 19% of vote, 5% of seats.
Others (Silly Party, etc.)- 1% of vote, 3% of seats.
