Imperial Orthodoxy (Chính Thống giáo Đế chế)

In the late 23rd century, the Communist Party saw that religion must be handled well. So they sent groups of experts to check how other civilizations handled religious issues. And they got the best answer: uniting all into one state religion.

The core concept of the Grossvietnamese Imperial Orthodoxy is around The Three Divines:

  • Buddha: stands for enlightenment.

  • Lạc Long Quân: stands for unity. He is the mythological father of Vietnam and.

  • Jesus Christ: stands for order and sacrifise.

However, the most worshipped deity in Grossvietnam is the Dragon Emperor - the patron deity of all Grossvietnam. He does not only stands for political unity but also military might of the Galactic Socialist Imperium. And he is worshipped as a patron god, a god of war, death and resurrection.

Hierarchies of Imperial Orthodoxy

General Personnel. Consists of:

  • Monk

  • Black Monk. Designation for priests coming from an Orthodoxy sect specialized in exorcism named "Night Guardians"

  • Militia

Sister of Battles. Consists of:

  • Battle Sister

  • Sister Seraph. Air-support expert.

  • Sister Excellency. These vehicles are gifted to elite Sisters who have expressed the ultimate faith. The AIs bounded within the Warsuits trust only the purest Sisters of Battle and are difficult to tame. However, should such a union be successfully formed, the pilot can advance through the thickest enemy fire and engage the most fearsome of foes.

  • Sister Redemptor. Having failed or fallen short of the Sisters's strict religious codes in the past, Redemptor Sisters seek to earn the Dragon Emperor's grace once more by self-flagellation and find a glorious death in the heat of battle. Though ultimately outcasts, they are none the less revered by their fellow Sisters, who see them as pilgrims seeking the absolution of death and ultimate sacrifice in the name of the Dragon Emperor.

  • Sister Anchorite. Piloted by Redemptor Sisters who have committed the ultimate sin: fleeing from battle. This is an act of evil which can not be forgiven, and as punishment these are given the immeasurably cruel fate of piloting an Anchorite.
