Libertania
The remnants of the Rust Belt have a lot of cheap lands thanks to the mass amount of job loss in the area from factories being automatized and outsourced. A recent boom in robotics and new automated industry has made these lands popular again, now being known as the Mechanized Belt, or as Robotic Valley, as a way to compare it to the well-known Silicon Valley. An influx of college-educated individuals has allowed these formerly dying lands to once again becoming a booming hub of economic activity and a center for much of the electricity for the regions surrounding it.This new country is called Libertania, and while it is the most conservative of the United Countries, it is still very left-leaning overall.
There are three regions in Libertania, the Ontario-Erie or East region, the Michigan or Central region, and the Huron-Superior or West region.
Because of the intense regionalism and partisanism going on during the breakup and secession of the states in Libertania, it has the most states of any of the United Countries, due to several states splitting apart into several substates.
