The Asahi Shimbun | Takashi Government’s Plan Reveals “Extreme” and “Cruel” Decisions

CAMPAIGN ADVISOR UNVEIL AN “EXTREM” GOVERNMENT PLAN ESPECIALLY FOR NORTH BORNEO, DRAWN UP BY SANAE TAKAICHI
Takachi’s documents were leaked containing the goal of occupying North Borneo again and ending the civil rights of the natives and imposing a racial division
between Japanese and natives, along with the construction of a wall between North Borneo and South Borneo to prevent immigrants from crossing the border
between the Empire of Japan and Indonesia.

TOKYO — 30 OCTOBER 2026

One of the campaign advisers to LDP presidential candidate Sanae Takechi has released some classified campaign documents that point to “perverse and horrible government’s plans” that were devised by the candidate herself, adding that if she is elected, “Japan will stay totally under the command of political extremists and we will suffer the consequences with the international community”.

The Chief of Staff, Joint Staff, Mr. Kōji Yamazaki, he fears that if Takechi is elected Prime Minister of Japan, war will really break out with the Kingdom of Korea, something Seoul already had in mind, not to mention Takechi intends to militarize the Sea of Japan again and will further militarize the maritime boundary between the Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Korea should a war break out. “We must, in fact, always expect the worst of any government plan Takechi will make,” he said. ‘Crazy and Imperialist’ ideas will not be welcome in a new Ermanist Japan for moderate liberals.

[…] What we have here in this election race is just a “mad woman” who wants to take Japan back 80-90 years ago, instead of making the country always walk towards the future. Are we in the 21st century, for God's sake, segregationism in North Borneo? End of native civil rights? OH! PLEASE! That kind of thinking will eventually lead Japan to destruction — Fortunately, in my opinion, Kishida is way ahead in the polls and it will bring glorious results to our country.
Statement from Kōji Yamazaki, Chief of Staff, Joint Staff of the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces
