Protestors Demand Transparency Of Government Records

Welcome to Fastrack News, on your favourite news channel, Aera24, where we bring you the hottest, freshest headlines, keeping you updated with the nation's happenings, every hour of the day. In today's news, the death of former president Sye Terese Jr. has quickly become a trending topic in the nation once again, after nearly ten years; due to a controversial statement made by Leader, Bhanupratap Singh. The Leader, Maharaja Bhanupratap Singh was asked by a reporter in a conference about making records from the National Space Agency, Aeraven Institute of Astronomical Sciences (AIAS) available to the public, to create transparency of government funding, to which the Maharaja responded by saying that everything the Government does is not the concern of the public.

One man on popular social media site Fritter.com proceeded to question the response of the Maharaja and make connections with why documents stating former president Sye Terese Jr.'s cause and proof of death were never made public, and why for ten years the death of a man in a position as important as him has been a mystery. The Freet garnered a lot of attention from other Aeravanese on the site, people beginning to ask about the fate of the common man in the country if people of such importance were ending up like this. Only soon after, protests broke out outside the House of Res Publica, or the House of Affairs in the capital city of Reuz. It has been three days since the protests began, different groups have quickly assembled in front of the Res Publica, demanding information about the former President be made public. The Reuz central police was deployed at the scene, and has been there ever since protestors allegedly became violent and hostile.

Anchor: Now coming to our field reporter Milo Parker, reporting live from the protests outside House of Res Publica, who is interviewing protestors and trying to get an insight on the agenda today and understand the demands of the protestors better. Over to you Milo.

Milo: Good afternoon Rosa, I am here outside the Res Publica, amidst the protests, the situation has aggravated quite a lot since the last two days, we are hoping this clears out soon and demands of the people are met.

Camera focus moves to Milo placing his microphone in front of a protestor.

Anchor: Ma'am, can you tell me what exactly are protestors here expecting from the government?

Protestor 1: Yelling. We want the government to reveal the autopsy reports of President Terese, and come clean about what happened to him. We as citizens of this country deserve an answer.

Protestor 2: Hogging the microphone and yelling into it. This is a violation of our rights! Yesterday it was the President, tomorrow it will be us. Your leader will make everyone he doesn't like disappear if we don't stop him now!

Protestor 1: We want to know if there was even a body burnt during the Prez's cremation, or just a bunch of logs.

Protestor 2: Still yelling. We demand an explanation, and answers, and we demand them now! Bhanupratap show yourself, we will destroy this-

Anchor: Taking the microphone back. As you can see, there is a lot of frustration in these protestors against the government. Demands are being made that Leader confronts the public regarding this situation, and provide some answers. They await a formal confrontation from the Leader, but have also presented their own conditions to him. Coming back to you, Rosa.

Anchor: Thank you for that Milo, we sure do hope the Leader makes a public appearance and sheds light upon this topic, the people are eager and they are angry. With this we will end our show for this hour, thank you for joining us, you're watching Fastrack News on Aera24.
