A word from the author
- Welcome TWI-Islanders, to this months dispatch: "Nation of the Month"!
This months decision was not one that was easy to make. Over the course of June we had several nations that displayed exceptional activity through new dispatches, news post, TWItter posts and so on. Honorable mentions go out to
Costavozka and 
Nouvel Acadie who gave Stosal a real battle for the award right to the end. Despite you guys not receiving the award this month, this does not mean that you guys are unable to receive it in July. Display the same amount of activity and you might just win it!- For me this month went by in a blur, despite so much happening around me. I will apologize ahead of time for next months delayed post, but I have a REALLY important exam on the 28th so next months "Nation of the Month" dispatch will be delayed a few days.

- The small sovereign state of Stosal is one of the smallest nations in the Western Isles and yet has even the bigger nations in the Western Isles raising eyebrows when it comes to their foreign policy. The just recently enacted legislation regarding the previous isolationist state Stosal was in, has the country split between embracing international relations and focusing on their own.
Stosal is unique as its a theocratically ruled nation. Lucian Christianity is the name of the religion, in which 99% of the population belive in and which dominates all aspects of the nation. Other religions are outlawed and require specific permission to practice. Generally the nation is regarded to as authoritarian and has acted that way in international ways as well.
The climate is typically described as tropical, with sunny days throughout the year. The nations history can be traced back to european settlers, such as italian and spanish, which to this day many stosalic inhabitants derive from. The state as it exists today, was established in 1797.
The nations economy is dominated by exports such as gold, manufacturing and shipping.
Activity
- Stosal has been active in a way, that it has reacted and expressed its opinion on several topics in the Western Isles, which particularly drives the roleplay in this region forward. Meanwhile it does not fail to develop its own storyline from there.
Specifically in June, Stosal has established international relations with
Ainslie. The nations politicians, religious leaders and population were split about this decision, which was the first following the enactment of the new foreign policy. To further fuel the storyline, Stosal released several TWItter posts, which added to the immersiveness. The struggle between church officials was also underlined by several news posts released over the course of the month.Stosal also submitted teams to participate two sporting events including the CEFA Cup (football) and the TWI International Basketball League (Basketball). On top of that, Stosal also showed interest in joinig ACESTI, an organization dedicated to preserving Culture, Science and Education.

Upon receiving the award, Stosal was asked to answer a few questions, which would also be shown in the dispatch:
- 1. What are your future plans, going forward with Stosal?
Mainly expanding Stosal's foreign affairs and opening up, especially with the Christian cultural alliance proposal and Road of Sorrows. I'm also trying to flesh out my government a bit more through the drama the opening up has been causing
2. How do you feel about the RP going on in TWI so far?
It's been very friendly and welcoming, and plenty of people have been suggesting ideas and giving feedback on my own.
3. Any future RP idea you may want to participate in or even host yourself?
I've already mentioned the cultural alliance, which I can see opening up some character RPs. Another possibility is some sort of religious RP happening between the Churches of TWI, haven't really thought that through too much though.
4. Any thoughts on receiving the award?
I'm honoured to have Stosal featured with the award, and I look forward to keep on going in TWI!
