Freedomanica: How did you find Nationstates?
The Islands of Man: I don’t really remember, I believe it was from browsing the web, searching for something,or a Drew Durnil video.
Freedomanica: Yeah, I think I remembered joining by just searching for a nation similulator directly on the web lmao.
Upon joining, what intrigued you into joining the Valley of Peace?
The Islands of Man: The peaceful environment and me in general just wanting somewhere to be. At the time I thought like my country could actually be invaded, and an isolated region sounded a perfect place for growth and development.
Freedomanica: Yeah that’s what was primarily the point for the Valley, not really just about what you can do there, but also what you can do for yourself.
What was your initial reaction to the game and has that opinion changed over time?
The Islands of Man: Mainly interesting to me , it hasn’t changed much
Freedomanica: Ah and tell me…
What motivated you to become an Elemental and what agent of change do wish you to bring unto our community members?
The Islands of Man: Mainly just wanting to be apart of to e community more, as it wasn’t that interesting due to it being laid back, which is a sort of double edged sword. Joining the elementals made it more interesting.
Freedomanica: Last question before we wrap up. 🙂
What are you looking forward to in the future of your time here in the game and any closing comments before we are done?
The Islands of Man: Mainly just improving my country to a strong economy. I really just like the aspect of the game. It’s an interesting game, and is really for a specific kind of person, someone interested in this aspect of civilization; nation building.
On 11 July 2022 saw the region’s Master Theradaz, resign from their position as the first Dragon Warrior of the Valley of Peace who stated that they have many duty-led obligations that require a significant amount of their time and unfortunately as a result said they would resign from their Dragon Warrior as stating that in the realization that they cannot contribute sufficiently as would be appropriate for a regional leader.
Theradaz is known for having an extremely well-natured and calm approach to everything they have done in the experience of many in the Valley of Peace and are an extremely competent individual who always utilized and in that manner, eager to do anything for the greater community of the Valley of Peace. As such, we only wish them a good future to come and shall always remember their wonderful service to the Valley of Peace.
Upon the Fire Elemental position becoming vacant as a result of New Domale ceasing to exist just after their election straight thereafter, The Islands of Man hosted an in-game by-election poll of four days on the succession of them in this capacity with Sal Bria stating their intent to run and four uncertainties and three declinations.
This gave way to Sal Bria who immediately assumed the position of Fire Elemental uncontested and thanked everyone for putting their trust in them regardless of no contest and sought to bring a new sense of value to the Valley of Peace in their position. Congratulations are to go to them!
