The Energiz.AR Plan, is an ongoing public infrastructure project devised by the Ministry of Public Works, with three main objectives regarding the development of the national energy network in the near future.

- To increase the share of nuclear and renewable sources in energy generation.

- To gradually phase out fossil fuel and other non-renewable means as primary sources of energy generation, leaving only strategic reserves to be used in case of contingencies.

- To have a nationwide total installed generating capacity of 50,000 MW.
