Jan 2023 Consiglio Candidate Information
Background: On January 28th, 2023, The Republic of Venice shall hold elections to inaugurate the founding members of the Consiglio dei Pregadi — the Venetian Senate. Four candidates have formally declared for these seats so far, and for your ease of research we have compiled their respective manifestos below:Platform:
I intend to put in place a foundation for this region to grow on. There will be roleplaying, politics, and more. I see myself as a solid choice, as I consistently drive RMB activity through my ministry. I also wish to set up executive staffs to run ministries smoothly. Remember:

When I am on the Consiglio, I will establish a formal process for the delegate's election and the powers and limitations the delegate should have. This is integral to our region.
Platform:
I'm London and Lisbon, Interim Diplomacy officer of Venice, you probably already know that about me if you're reading this, now I'll get to the point because I'm unable to write long paragraphs.
I, if I am elected to the Consiglio dei Pregadi as a senator Intend to:
1. Impose restrictions upon the WA delegate so they do not go uncontrolled so that the people of Venice can have a say in their vote.
2. Focus on a development of the foreign ministry as to not have a singular person controlling international affairs.
3. Create more refined laws as to narrow down the specifics of what can and can't be done.
4. Make an regional RP map because... why not?
5. Maybe, just maybe try and impose a term limit on the Doge but no limits on how many terms they can run in a row.
I'm not a populist, and I will try to keep my promises(If I make any, I decided long ago making promises in politics is a bad idea), but I would ask if you could understand tat I can only do so much within the span of a month and as only one person.
Platform:
While I am new to the region I want to enrich our culture and build upon our story. I will seek the consensus of the people to guide decisions, and I will encourage roleplay. I will help to actively make us the best region.

For everyone of venice , Republic of Atlantic,We must improve our relations, cultures, politics. I want to make Venice the best region and an example to thousands of regions on how to achieve glory!!!
