PM announces support for the Citreon Parliament Act
The issue of a parliament caused too much debate and time waisting in TOO. I want this issue to be laid to bed once and for all. While personally I have always been opposed to a Parliament, I recognise that there remains a large degree of support, particularly from nations in the government. I believe that the Citreon Parliament Act by Patec is the best way we can end this debate and please all sides. The Regional Senate preserves One Nation, One Vote, a system I have always wanted to defend, while the Citizens Council will give nations interested in RP an opportunity to get involved in politics. This plan is the bridge between the two sides and I thank Patec for putting it together.
Proposed Defence Act
While there are a busy couple of weeks in polling lined up thanks to the Parliament Act, Freedom of the Press act and Patec's other Territorial Act, I still want to deliver on an ODU pledge that was made in TOO. Terrorism and wars have shocked the region and I want to establish an act that will bring lots of different nations together in a regional defence pact. More detail will be revealed in the final piece of legislation
