Standing Military of the Untecnan Empire

The Imperial Military of the Untecnans is the official standing military force of the Untecnan Empire, responsible for conducting wars, policing colonies, and acting in the national defense interest of the country. The force was created during the formation of the Empire, more than 8,000 years ago. In that time, the military has changed some, including many changes to equipment and arms, but the name and general purpose have not yet been affected.

General Doctrine

The military mainly focuses on ground and space combat. Following the War of the Arm, the Untecnan Army began an overhaul of their transportation and required that troops no longer move on foot, instead converting them into mechanized infantry units.

The military also mandates constant development, often using a tactic of collecting battlefield data and data on the enemy to begin improvements as necessary.

Army

The Grand Imperial Army of the Untecnan Empire, simply referred to as the Imperial Army, is the standing ground and sea force of the Untecnan Empire. It contains most military personnel, and is one of the oldest standing armies in the universe.

The military follows a standard ranking system like many nations, though its terms are roughly different.

Standard Infantry: The regular soldier of the Imperial Army, usually equipped with a rifle, shortsword, shield belt, grenades, and supplies. Different parts of a unit may have varying weapons to supply different combat roles.

Imperial Lancemen: Melee units designed for quick and piercing damage on weakened opposing forces. The Imperial Lancemen also see use around the Empire as additional policing in the colonies, and mainly act in colonial territory.

Standard Officer: Each officer is allowed to customize their standard uniform and armor, with several darker colors (black, gray, red, blue, or violet). They are also allowed to have symbols painted on, and other customizations. They are also the most wealthy, usually being made up of nobles.

Imperial Scout: The Scouts are the reconnaissance and light units of the Empire. Each one is given a drone, seen in the image, which has many additional capabilities to supply the scouts. Every scout also has a secure-line communications device to communicate on the field.

Heavy Armor Infantry: The Heavy Armor Infantry are the core heavy units of the Imperial Army. Attached to their armor is a lasgun, firing 2000 bolts/minute (laser bolts).

Imperial Vanguard: The Imperial Vanguard is a special unit used for paratrooper deployments. Their armor has a stealth drive on board to allow them to stay protected from enemy weapons. In addition to this, their armor conceals their heat radiation.

Imperial Cavalry: The Imperial Cavalry are units that employ armored motorcycles to travel fast and either fire their guns (with aiming assistance) or strike with their longer swords or lances.

Hazardous Environments Unit: The Hazardous Environments Unit is a robotic unit designed for use in heavily polluted areas, laboratories, reactors, chemical/fuel plants, etc. These units are designed to be fast and have containers on their backs to steal materials from their deployment locations.

Colonial Scout: While the Colonial Scouts are less equipped than their regular counterparts, they excel in agility and are easy to deploy in the colonies, while regular forces are prepared to go there.

Imperial Deyan: The Imperial Deyan is a melee-focused unit which carries plasma swords and often act as units to go behind enemy lines.

Blackforce Unit: The Blackforces are the newest unit in the army, and are the general special forces units.

Military Police: The military police both act as police units under officers within the military and as police officers in wartorn or otherwise conflicted areas in the Empire (such as Vsshtak).

Hermetes: The Hermetes clones are clones similar to the Aleph in the Orange Creek. These clones are best for high-heat environments.

Vetomes: The Vetomes clones are clones similar to the Samekh in the Orange Creek. These clones are best for low-heat environments (i.e cold).

Nonumes: The Nonumes bridge the gap between the other two clone types, and may potentially begin to fill normal spots in the Army.
