Non-sapient animal abuse is a genuine issue that the World Assembly can and should address. The proposal at vote, In-Ovo Sexing Of Chicks, is one attempt at doing so.

While the language of the proposal is rarther technical in nature on the culling of chickens, the basic premise of the proposal is as follows. If industrial farming operations need to cull their chickens, they must do so in a more human manner. As the proposal's name indicates, this is through the use of in-ovo sexing technologies. Additionally, the proposal provides recommendations that member states that do not have access to said technologies currently work with other member states to obtain it.

While industrial farms are inherently problematic and often inhumane in capitalist societies, this proposal provides a good step forward for the humane treatment of animals.

As such, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has directed Kethania to vote FOR "In-Ovo Sexing Of Chicks", and urges the Bloc's World Assembly nations to do the same.
