WB #2: The Night the Sky Lit Up
A niamyn, known as 'Coello', walks into their master's house. Their master - known as Nyjrlai - ruled their small town of Kalikan and served the tribe leader as a branch of his power, similar to the mayor of a city.
Coello | "Master, I've finished building the miner you asked for." |
Master Nyj | "Great work there, Coello. Kffyielor, I shall summon!" |
Kffyielor | rushes into the room "Yes, master! What is my service today?" |
Master Nyj | "Go help Coello bring the miner into the house." |
Kffyielor and Coello both rush out of the room. The miner is out in the fields, quite a distance away. "One, two, three, hup!" "Damn, this is heavy. Hey, Coello, you're not even lifting the machine!" "Shut up, you worthless servant!" Kffyielor is visibly pissed, but they can't even do anything. He lifts the twenty-five-kilogram machine onto his posterior while Coello helps maintain it on his back. "Tsk, what is taking them so long..." Nyjrlai says, tapping his stick on the hard wooden floor of the court.
After the longest five minutes in history, the floor of the courthouse vibrates heavily as the machine is placed on the floor. They place it on a strong table, and then Coello starts explaining how it works and demonstrating. He explains until the sun sets.

They put the miner on a strong table, and then Coello started explaining how it worked and demonstrated it. He explained for so long that he explained until sunset. While the sunset, the other inhabitants of Kalikan were greeted with an amazing nova of a nearby white dwarf, followed by a nice meteor shower. They were awed at the beautiful sight.
At night, the town gathered to witness the spectacular sight of the meteor shower. What appeared to be a big nova in the sky kept getting bigger and bigger and was visible to the naked eye, yet no one was paying attention to it. They were all paying attention to the meteor shower, in the opposite direction from the 'nova'. Several minutes later, a big light shone across the sky and everyone looked back to see the sight. Some realised that it wasn't just a typical nova, and tried running away, but most just stayed and watched the sight. The meteor pierced through the clouds, barely anything burned up in the atmosphere and crashed into the ground below. Anyone within 6.5km (4.1 mi) would have their houses collapsed, and everyone in Kalikan died. The sky lit a bright white, and no one knew people had died.
