Celosia Hold

The fall of one of the oldest and most important settlements was the catalyst beginning the doom of the Dainheim. Once where the great city stood only a large crater is now present. Only rumors of the true events that occurred on that day. From a failed coup to awaking some ancient horror raising the fortress hearsay knows no bounds. What is known is that the city of old is gone along with the Family of Celest collapse with it and every soul within sight withered to husks.
With the balancing factor within the Dainheim removed it was then Monthra sought to take to total control of the high parliament. Staging several assassination on key rivals with most being successful on minor targets but failing on two pertinent individuals. A small faction within Monthra broke away from the main political block given their distaste over the failed takeover events. Nesters surviving leadership retaliated sending in their own tasks forces to sabotage key components in Monthra own military machine. Smaller independent family blocks banded together in their own loose federation to strike back at Monthras military presents. Their success was mixed with Monthra cleaning up open resistance against them near surrounding strongholds.
Battle of Beacon political capital of the Dainheim was turned into a warzone overtime. Leaving shattered structures in the remaining wake of devastating street warfare. Fires soon consumed whatever remained leaving twisted metal reaching to the skies.

Thanks to their captains most recent dealings they're transporting eight thousand fluid ounces of superior refined mana from the Lesser Glóavið Springs Laboratory. While the Gander is classified as an auxiliary airship its main role was support or transport and not the kind temperature/pressure sensitive and everything explodes.
