The Revolutionary Armed Force (RAF) is the national armed forces and is divided in 5 different components.
It is de facto an professional army, because there is no compulsory military service. The National Army consists of the following components:

MEDICAL COMPONENT
The Symbol of the medical component of 'the half moon in a ring of olives branch'.

The Medical Defence component is part of the RAF.
The task of the medical component of the medical support operations (eg first line support), support in the context of formation and trainining (eg training) and provide assistance to the Nation (eg, burns).
