Vote AGAINST Repeal: “Reducing Bycatch”

Official Recommendation of the Ministry of WA Affairs

Vote AGAINST Repeal: “Reducing Bycatch” - Here

Category: RepealTarget: GA#725Author: L V M H

Rationale & Analysis

The at vote is a proposal to repeal "Reducing Bycatch;" a more recent resolution aimed to help minimize the environmental impact of fishing industries. In our original recommendation for the target, we noted that it was passable, but that it would have been better were it more detailed in its protections. The repeal, however, was prepared with no replacement in mind and claims that the very minimal requirements of the original resolution are overly cumbersome. Hard disagree.

As such, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has directed Kethania to vote AGAINST Repeal: “Reducing Bycatch”, and urges the Bloc's World Assembly nations to do the same.
