Vote FOR Repeal: Nuclear Waste Safety Act

Official Recommendation of the Ministry of WA Affairs

Vote FOR Repeal: Nuclear Waste Safety Act - Here

Category: RepealResolution: GAR#116Author: Tinhampton

Rationale & Analysis

Ready for the 5th repeal in a row!

Unlike the previous repeal, Repeal: “Nuclear Waste Safety Act” has simple, logical reason for the attempt. GA #116, the target, has incredibly inconsistent language. It refers alternates references to nuclear waste as international nuclear waste and international waste. This leads an odd situation where the plain language of the resolution states that a nation that has no capability to store nuclear waste could be banned from importing other waste products, such as food waste, from other countries. Obviously, a nation's ability handle nuclear waste has no impact on their ability handle other wastes.

As such, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has directed Kethania to vote FOR Repeal: Nuclear Waste Safety Act, and urges the Bloc's World Assembly nations to do the same.
