Iceageas Secret Intelligence Services: Declassified information on the European region.

C.

Calbout is a very conservative Christian country, donkey carts collect votes, communism was banned and it can be argued that it is therefore not a particularly free country for many. Democracy is questionable, the communist party was on a course to win a landslide but emergency powers used by the leader in reference to World War One banned them and what is thought to be a puppet left wing party established in place. Diplomats are encouraged to avoid “wokeness”, no blue hair, no colourful socks, dress for a funeral. Hard power seems non existent, although claims of a powerful military are present. Soft power is negligible, few nations endorse its party in the European elections.

Extra notes: If in a tough spot, point at random person, call them “woke” and then run, perfect distraction.

Status:

Hard Power: Suspected

Soft Power: Minimal.

Canturk is a newish nation in the European community. Not much is known due to it’s short history but it seems that there are keen attempts by its leadership to gain endorsement and support from others. Otherwise Canturk is a relatively “chilled” nation with no open hard power ambitions, but chances are, if you want endorsements, you want control. Soft power seems generally small, with no major attempts to have a cultural impact. Iceagean diplomats are encouraged to keep an eye on Canturkian requests and forward them to intelligence if suspicion arises.

Extra notes: At one point the people fell to the cult of Yahlia, easily influenced?

Status:

Hardpower: Has potential

Soft power:Negligible.

Der Duetscher Volksbund or the DDV is a well known socialist nation, having fallen and risen under multiple regimes it is a country of instability. However despite these circumstances it retains influence through cordial relations with other nations. However having regional hard power is a visible asset to their recent success coming to blows with neighbouring countries over territory. Rights seem generally good and it is of no specific importance whom Iceagea sends diplomatically, especially as relations are “chill”. Soft power does not come across as notable with more of a focus on stability, politics and internal affairs.

Extra Notes: Leader was willing to give up information.

Status

Hard Power: Focus on regional issues.

Soft Power: Experienced but not culture focused.

Grego is a newly formed yet well known country amongst the European community, though perhaps not for the right reasons. Grego uses an interesting approach to intelligence, using political puppets acting as envoys of breakaway states to gain attention whom then ignite controversy to identify the positions of other leaders, without upsetting its own reputation. Hardpower nor softpower does not seem to be particularly prevalent due to their recent founding but it is recommended that caution is applied to diplomats who do not want to be caught in scandal.

Extra notes: Friendly on initial encounters.

Hard Power: Intelligence focused.

Soft power: minimal.

Holy Europe Empire is a religious and conservative country. The emperor wields more power than the president making it highly undemocratic. Rumoured to have violent religious sacrifice diplomats are warned to avoid contact with churches, cathedrals and nunnery’s. Thankfully it is somewhat isolationist with no real suggestion of a desire for multiversal hard power nor soft power, choosing to focus its attention on border skirmishes with the nation of Armbruster.

Extra Notes: Uses two flags.

Status;

Hard power: Isolated

Soft power: Insignificant

I:

Iskalland is an isolated but seemingly respected and recent addition to Europe, with interests in cultural aspects of the European community. Military presence amongst Europe is unnoticeable, culture seems to value health and well-being over international exploits. Diplomats key danger is Polar Bears, maintain same level of awareness amongst wildlife as in outer wilds of Iceagea. Political interests are present but not in place to rival Iceagean interests as of yet.

Extra notes: Keep an eye on political ambitions.

Status

Hard Power: Non existent or negligible.

Soft Power: Increasing.

K.

Kkorea is a young-ish nation with a big cultural impact in the European community, hosting the hungry games, card contests and so on. However some of these events seem to fizzle out after contributions are made, it is feared that a large scam enterprises originate there. Furthermore Kkorea has an interest in influencing fledgling European nations, this brings the potential of corruption. For these reason Kkorea is deemed a significant soft power and one of suspicion, diplomats are encourage to avoid scandals when on Kkorean soil.

Extra Notes: Skallidian leaks have suggested Kkorea’s leader may be a protege or puppet of Skalliad, trained in the art of neck licking.

Status:

Hard Power: Insignificant.

Soft Power: Significant.

Leblancroux is a country of populist bourgeois. A familiar country in the European political system and present in both the discordian and regional forums for discussion and debate. Has held power in Europe multiple times and used said powers as a means to investigate other nations leaders, as well as gain an insight for possible intelligence reasons. Diplomats are encouraged to dress a little fancier to fit in, dandy it up. Hard power does not seem particularly prevalent on the multiversal stage but soft power is noticeable as their investigations are usually disguised as cultural events such as polls.

Extra notes: Other nations leaders do not seem to take Leblancroux’s leader seriously, often coming up with humorous alternatives for their nation’s name.

Status:

Hard Power: Unsuspecting.

Soft Power: Considerable but not taken too seriously.

M

Montecrux is a bloodthirsty nation with a particular hankering for nukes. A leader in when it comes to nuclear technology it should be wise to stay on their good side, especially on N-Day, fortunately an unspoken alliance between Iceagea and Montecrux exists for such events. Current intelligence deems the soft power of Montecrux is basic/average to many other nations.

Extra notes: Leblancroux attacked Montecrux on N-Day. Leblancroux suffered as a result.

Status:

Hardpower: Nuclear state, unspoken allies.

Soft Power: Basic b*tch.

N.

New Eestiball is a middle aged nation, not ancient, not new and thus straddles the line of influential but not overwhelmingly so, battling newer nations (such as Wu-Wei) with more difficulty than say New Nordic Union, however generally beloved amongst the community. The country is one of cynics, military does not seem particularly prominent, foreign relations however are temperamental as previously mentioned, diplomats are encouraged not to engage too much with the general public, restricting their questions to a minimum, such as asking for the time or directions.

Note: The leader was/is a mathematician, do not underestimate their ability to calculate the accurate thrown trajectory of a sharp pencil to the neck, maintains some influence over Tug for some reason.

Status:

Hard Power: Not prominent.

Soft Power: Noticeable but is wobbly at times.

The new Nordic union is an ancient, influential nation, policeman of Europe, hard power nor soft power can sway the devotion to the law. However, other Nordic countries, especially those in government such as Saarenmaa. may provide a weak point in the armour. Country development seems slow, appears to have foreign interest in another newer nations (A puppet perhaps?). Certain decisions made have previously provoked the ire of others, perhaps a weak point in foreign relations?

Extra notes: Avoid restaurants, rumours of human consumption.

Status:

Hard Power: Militarily? Secretive; Legally? unrivalled.

Soft Power: Influential but not invulnerable.

Not much is known about Nymphenburg other than some of the heinous tests carried out on questionable test subjects. It is clear that Nymphenburg has considerable Hard Power ambitions across the multiverse and must be watched closely. Soft power does not seem to be of concern to them.

Extra notes: 🚩🚩🚩

Status:

Hard Power: Threatening

Soft Power: Nonexistent

A new nation on the block? Oh no no no no no no no no no. NO! No….According to intelligence this nation is merely another “puppet state” of Greater Morvonia. Imperial ambitions may be present here. By supporting small breakaways to become their own states such as Penn Central, greater Morvonia’s tentacles of influence still permeate despite its historic collapse. Hardpower remains unidentified, however the nation may specialise in transportation and therefore provide a military boost to the surviving Morvonian elite. Softpower seems negligible, for now.

Extra Info: Company suggests the nations existence is purely for financial purposes, keep an eye on the markets.

Status

Hardpower: Has potential if vehicular activity turns military.

Softpower: Negligible for now.

Potato land run by potato man, political activist nation with no serious attempts at power.

Extra Note: Good chip restaurants.

Quincy has been around for a while, a nation in the Caribbean off of the gulf of yucatan and much like Iceagea made up of two islands. A population of only 1.7 million makes Quincy small but no less dangerous. Cartels have a heavy presence on the Ilhausl island and it is advised that diplomats and Iceageans in general avoid that area. Despite its insular nature Quincy is an open minded nation, with various hubs of industry and culture and rights for various minorities enshrined in its constitution. Due to its size Hard Power is estimated to be on the small side, but it is well known country in the European universe and thus has a certain level of soft power associated with that.

Extra notes: Dangerous wildlife in Esperança, not even an Iceagean should venture there.

Status:

Hardpower: Negligible

Soft Power: Rising.

R:

Regnum Italie is an ancient nation. Much like the New Nordic Union it wields considerable power and authority over the European community, if the New Nordic Union were a rattle snake, Regnum Italie is a cobra, quiet but deadly to those whom upset the balance. However, it is not perfect. Leaking documents, withholding mistakes despite declaring them happening….Hard power is considerable, soft power is more mythical woth a lower cultural engagement, only occasionally initiating events. Diplomats are encourage to be respectful.

Extra Notes: Criticism of their food is a deaths sentence.

Status

Hard Power: Significant

Soft Power: Intermittent but memorable.

The audacious Republic of Saarenmaa. Where to begin? A relatively recent nation with a large comedy sector, as a result moves under the radar, in fact being a heavily endorsed nation with steadily increasing soft power and noticeable influence in European foreign affairs, being one of the major nations injecting their fingers into the honeypot of newly formed nations. There is no real noticeable military presence. Diplomats need not fear danger within the republic, however it is crucial for the Iceagean government to keep a keen eye on Saarenmaa in the event of a delegacy swap. With significant enough influence they could upset the balance of power.

Extra notes: The leader is a bit of a joker.

Status:

Hard Power: Unknown

Soft power: Considerable, though is specifically aimed at influencing smaller nations.

Intelligence reports that Skalliad is a powerful nation with a deep understanding of multiversal transportation with keen technological advancements that rival our own, surprisingly Skalliad does not take advantage of this knowledge to completely dominate the universe. Politically Skalliad is an allie, territorial disputes are non existent between our countries, likely as a result of infinite territorial possibilities thus negating any need for hostile encroachment on allied shores. Soft power in the multiverse is where loggerheads meet, both Iceagea and Skalliad compete for endorsements from other nations, one to watch. Population seems culturally dependent on technology.

Extra notes: The leader of Skalliad, has a lust for licking necks. Vampire?

Status:

Hard Power: Allies

Soft Power: Rivals

St Scarlett is a small archipelago without any seemingly large military, nevertheless soft power is near unrivalled with deep influence amongst the European community, if experiencing slight receding endorsement support in the WA, this influence allows Skarlagean influence to permeate deep, with unrivalled access to powerful positions in the European community. Female dominated society, caution must be taken when it comes to diplomatic relations, send least misogynistic diplomats.

Extra notes: Leader has unhealthy interest in cats. Could be useful leverage.

Status:

Hard Power: No Threat

Soft Power: Unrivalled.

W:

Western Balkania is a fairly new country, with higher endorsement amongst the European community, soft power seems to be on the steady climb, may be a temporary rise. However, influence remains unthreatening based on observations. Smaller presence in the European regional forum. Discordial Forum presence remains uninvestigated. Not much else is known, diplomatic activity should therefore proceed with caution, especially amidst rumours of piracy.

Extra Notes: HOW DOES HE GET SO MANY ENDORSEMENTS??

Status:

Hard Power: Unnoticeable.

Soft Power: Advancing

The Western European Commonwealth raises security concerns immediately upon surveillance, intercepting and leaking European leader’s communications out of context. While not posing a particular concern in hardpower nor softpower, the communications security must be updated to reflect the appearance of the western commonwealth in the European forums, Iceagean interests come first and foremost, if this threat does not recede, there will be consequences.

Extra Notes: Covers large swathes of territory in its universe, possible rising power.

Status:

Hardpower: Potentially present, but limited currently to their own universe.

Softpower: Limited and specific to twisting communication between European leaders.

X:

Xcountry is unpredictable, not particularly influential politically, with no real hardpower you would not usually view them as a threat. However as was seen in the raid of ‘24, it took nowt more than a request to the belligerents for Xcountry to seize a position of power. Clearly willing to claim influence by any means sneaky, Xcountry must be monitored to safeguard Iceagean residency interests…

Extra notes: Leader likes Football. Therefore potential for manipulation by the “Football Three” Champions League, Thracia and Crimea and St Sparta.

Status:

Hard Power: Nonexistent

Soft Power: Non existent

Xzarvaris is an old and mysterious nation, not much is known about it, however it seems that it has experienced difficulties with transparency and democracy. Hardpower nor softpower seems particularly notable in the European or international community, further investigations shall remain. Diplomats are encouraged to learn as much as possible before voyaging to the nation, such that they are better primed to deal with whatever mysterious activities dwell within its borders.

Extra notes: Keep an eye on the nations leader, see what they let slip.

Status:

Hardpower: Rumoured to exist.

Softpower: Little if any.
