Don't be rude.
It's not that hard to be polite to others, please make that bare minimum effort. Ask people's permission before doing something involving their nation!

No fascism or bigotry.
There's plenty of both fascism and hate in the real world, we don't want to bring any of that here. Imperialism, racial tensions, and war? That's okay, that's just realism. Your nation hating minorities because you think that's funny? Not okay.

Be kind.
Remember that roleplay (RP) is a communal effort. Please make an effort to include others and understand how they roleplay.

All posts are assumed to be out of character unless stated otherwise, please mark this using "[IC]".
We do our roleplay on our regional RMB. What that means is, people might get mixed up as to whether you're responding to them as the person playing the game or just roleplaying. To clarify this, all RP posts should say [IC] at the beginning.

Roleplay time proceeds at twice the speed of real life time.
To facilitate easier RP and make things less boring, all of our RP proceeds at double the speed it does in real life. One day in real life = two days in RP, one year = two years, etc.

Make a Factbook
Factbooks are our way of telling about our nation. Think of them as being wikipedia articles for your nation. Need inspiration? Check out my factbook here! You can then share your factbook with others!

Ask a government member to roleplay with you!
All of us in government have been roleplayers at some point, most of us still are. Contact me Ametist, or Yviria to get you started!

Make a map!
Click the link at the top of this page that says "MAP" to claim a map plot, then zoom in on the plot and use your imagination when filling in the details of what goes in your grid tiles! I made my first maps with Microsoft Paint, but I can also recommend GIMP and Pixlr if those aren't available to you.

While we're officially past tech-focused, our RP is intentionally a little bit chaotic! Your nation does what your nation wants, just make sure other people consent to whatever you do if it involves them.
