The Republic of Aurelia (Le Republica de Aurelia) is a beautiful republic situated along the southern coast of Dextera and northern coast of Hvaremas. It is an Aristocratic Classical Republic made up of 13 provinces. To the north it borders the Free Salevalish States on Dextera, to the south it borders Geralunden and the Wild Wastes of Central Hvaremas, to the far north the Republic controls the islands of Pascua and Caroline which are near the Meritocratic Republic of Imantica and the Kingdom of Skrekivio, and to the far west on Sinistael it controls Aurelian Sinistael which allows it to border the Seventh House and Valentina.

Etymology

The Republic of Aurelia takes it's name directly from the city of Aurelia. It was founded on the Dorato River, which legend claimed was formed by the run-off of a golden mountain which was destroyed long ago. Aurelia itself is often called the "Golden City", as its name roughly means "the Golden One".
