The Virelian Emergency

N/B: Please treat this matter with extreme maturity. Do not harass anyone in this dispatch.

Greetings, everyone.

I would like to unfortunately inform you that we're not getting back Virelia. Virelia is gone forever and is now in the hands of the Plains of Perdition along with their independent coalition. But there's more to the story. What I'm about to tell you is going to make you change the way you see the Modern Gameplay Compact(MGC), the largest and most powerful "defender" organization on NationStates.

On Sunday the 26th of April, 2026, the Radiant Inquisition of Perdition, The West Pacific Armed Forces, the Outback Bushrangers, Balder Jomsvikings, The North Pacific Army, The Land of Kings and Emperors Imperial Army, Frontierist Special Brigade, and the Grand Army of the Crowned Republic banded together to raid and overthrow the Commonwealth and unfortunately they were successful in their mission.

They quickly dismissed all the ROs and appointed their own. You would think that this is just another one of their fash bash, no, it's not. It's about to become more harrowing, complex and disgusting from here.

After I discovered they took over the region, I spread the information to our allies whow eren't familiar with the situation immediately and I moved to our new place of residence where the Provisional/Emergency Government and citizens-in-exile would take shelter during this dreaded period in Virelia's history, New Virelia where my fellow members in exiled government took refuge. I along with the members of the Provisional Government rallied our allies to assist us in the mission to liberate Virelia even risking to side with Osiris and TCB to get back our region from the coalition but it may have backfired.

So, plan B? Diplomacy, that's right, the one method that would surely save Virelia, right? NOPE. I was able to reach out to Rhaza to discuss the raid and find a solution that would satisfy both the demands of the Plains Of Perdition and the Provisional Governement. It started off great:

Then things started getting interesting:

Rhaza said that the reason why Virelia was raided was because of New Halo who had an alt in THE W0RLD by the name, Wanderer from Nowhere, who was appointed as MoFA of THE W0RLD. Rhaza along with some other people whom I will show you later disliked the fact that THE W0RLD appointed WFN/New Halo to be their MoFA. And in response, they decided to choose the target they sought best, Virelia. But there's more to the story. At the same time we were holding the talks, trying my best to defend WFN and Sambuca. I didn't realise that my efforts would go in vain. Rhaza ghosted me during the talks and behind my back, he and some other guys in a certain place chose to shamelessly make fun of a very serious situation. I've hidden their identities to prevent some "mercenaries" from harassing them which I strictly don't endorse.

Yes, I received an anonymous tip from a person who shared that Rhaza and his buddies were shamelessly making fun of our efforts to restore power to the Provisional Government. One went ahead and called us "fash". I immediately got outraged and left the server, disgusted by their actions which would make do something I would regret. This made me realise that you can trust none. Look how I begged Rhaza to withdraw his forces:

....little did I know I was being manipulated to be his and others' laughing stock.

I regret ever looking upto the MGC. I used to love reading their dispatches. I admired their mission of protecting vulnerable regions from the Raider Unity movement and other pro-raider movements. I even hoped that one day our very own armed forces, the VSDF, once big enough would participate in their missions. But I was wrong. That "Defender" tags you see on their pages are nothing but labels for imperialists who love to see other regions suffer in the name of defending. Their priority in their foreign policies, "personal interests"

But that doesn't mean that those whom they were going after for still shouldn't pay for their crimes. I 100% understand they were going for New Halo, he was their primary target as you can see here:

It shouldn't also mean that people do change, New Halo moved on from The South Pacific a long time ago. You should not also punishing someone is once and that's the end of it. They even went ahead to raid Virelia over a beef that occured a long time ago. Cna't we just be peaceful for once?

And I strongly denounce the people invloved and the decisions made in Operation Meteor, they compromised our sovereignty and destroyed our territorial integrity.

And I would like to make another announcement, I'm resigning as WA Delegate and Head Of State. I have to concentrate on my national examinations, so, yeah. But I'll be back full-time on NS after I finish my exams in early November. In the meantime, Ueclaya and Pine republic as well other members of the Provisional government who know themselves will run the region while I am gone.
